I got the Ghost X trimmer for $20 on Amazon. Great soft trimmer for the kiddos and even great for debulking for bald fades. That led me to getting the mini skull shaver which has been great along with the magnetic mat for $20 a piece! I got the Play during the first wave of presale and let me tell you, this has been the first clipper where I’ve actually been using it EXCLUSIVELY every haircut. Other clippers I’ve tried I always ended up needing to pick up my masters for something because I’m so used to them. But the Plays are just different 👌 all around great clippers. TPOB has been a winner for me.

white X does look good. but wouldn’t the XO a better buy than the X?
XO has usb-c but I believe the same motor. So depends how important usb-c is to you
@@thewoodshedbarber i believe it’s different brushless motor. it has 6800 rpm and 210 hrs run time compared to XO which has 7200 rpm and 240 hrs run time.

I bought an xotrimmer and the noise got worse over time. Are you experiencing any similar symptoms??
Yeah I’m not as big on the trimmers because of the noise, it’s the same as babyliss with the loud cam followers
Yes ...the cam is loud on the trimmers ....and they are brittle....he need to revisit that area....buts it's new brand
@@thewoodshedbarber we designed a new cam follower which should stop them getting louder over time should be on em and all the blades by june
