I have cooked grouse this way as well. Another method is to tie the breast up with butcher twine after it is put together then dip in egg wash, then into panko crumbs, then brown and bake! Delicious! Good luck on your southern adventure……
Nice intro 😂 I've never heard anyone say it quite like Alexa did! I wonder if anyone actually says it that way. Have you tried aging your grouse? I aged one for 3 (or was it 5?) days in the fridge. The meat turned a little darker and it was so deliciously flavourful.
It's the standard bands that Simpleshot sends with your slingshot I forget the exact taper but I know it's only a slight taper not as tapered as some people go. Bands are cut to 5.5" nice and short!
