The more I watch Maher, the less I like him these days. Especially since I've discovered Secular Talk. It seems like he's completely against trying to improve the Democratic party and he's just trying to make do with the likes of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. He's also openly spoken out about "purity tests" and thinks they're going to ruin the left. What he doesn't understand is that people like Bernie because he has standards and integrity, and if you have more politicians who will hold themselves to higher standards, then people will love them.

You know you can make a clean argument that Trump is better then Hillary. Hillary was threating attacking Russia in Syria, and even when Trump did bomb Syria airfield she stated we should not have warned them. What you think would of happen if we killed Russian in a soveriegn nation that they were invited in and we were not. Most likely a war, and if not a lot more tension that would threaten a war. She was also pushing for TPP, Trump did kill it. Yes he trying to pust some of it in NAFTA, which is tougher to do. The reality they both were unqualified to be president and both should have been in jail for one thing or another.
