Exactly what I was looking for! Good stuff man. Thanks :)
You got it!!
Thank you so much for the very helpful video on Auto framing in A6700. God bless you and good luck!
This was fantastic! Still trying to learn every detail of my first "real" camera lol. Definitely subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!
Perfect video to explain the auto framing mode. First time on this channel and I immediately decided to subscribe, very good job :)
Welcome aboard!
does the 6700 retain the original video if I want to control the auto framing myself in post?
Unfortunately not
Any experience in remotely selecting the subject being tracked via creators app (swapping from one person to another and back)?
Sony shows it in the ZVE1 product showcase but streaming to USB (and possibly HDMI out?) disables all remote functions so maybe their showcase is only possible for straight recording to SD card.
There are so many caveats in the manual for what functions work in what modes with what limitations that I can't tell.
finally, been looking for this video for awhile.
You got it!
I was under the impression that rather than setting up the fn button, c1 or c2 I could program the 1,2 or 3 on the top dial. 3 different setups for video, 3 different setups for photo, and 3 different setups for s&q. Also couldn't I program the button on my lens for at least one setup for video or photo or s&q? I just got my a6700 today and I'm reading through the manual but thought maybe you might already know. For example: fn button can change setting to bird focus, c1 can set up for 3 second timer, c2 canset up for a cloudy day, number 1 set up for f2.8, number 2 f4, number 3 f8 when lower dial is on photo. Basically any combination of setups for photo and video on any of the programmable buttons including any on the lens itself or in combination with the numbers on the top dial? Essentially a set up for whatever subject I'm shooting and lighting conditions? Thanks for any assitance, it's something I'm starting to investigate in the owners manual but not wanting to reinvent the wheel if someone already has it figured out. Great video btw lol Another scanario, if I'm shooting street photography with a 50mm lens at night and push the button on the lens can it set up the camera for low light ...can the camera tell I'm pushing the button on my 50mm or 24-70? How programmable is this thing. lol
You totally can I use the buttons for other stuff as I don’t always use the auto framing
Hello, Is this mode works for vertical clips?
Hey! Right now there is no vertical mode for this feature
there are videos of ZV-E1 that peaple use this feature for vertical shorts. It means it only work for ZV-E1 and not for a6700? @@ReachFilms
Did I miss it? You show how to set it up but don't show it being done. How do you select the subject so the camera knows what to focus on? I'm new to this camera so still inding doing this very confusing.
You don’t select the subject it does that for you which as you can imaging is difficult if there are multiple people in the shot
Great video. I’m buying one Ty
Ty
Thanks allot Jeff
which lens are you using to film this?
Sigma 18-50 2.8
@@ReachFilms thanks, this seems pretty wide. so i'm guess it's at 18?
@@chrislan2927 yep
what are your thoughts about using auto mode at a wedding when it's unmanned?
I haven’t personally used it yet, but I have had that exact thought
Ugh. I can’t get mine to work. “Does not work in Shoot Mode Intelligent Auto”. No clue how to turn that off.
Go into manual video mode or Av
@@ReachFilms Same results on both of those settings. I guess this is the “fun” frustrations of being a newbie. Can’t find a way to turn OFF Intelligent Auto to make this feature work. I’m currently two hours deep in research lol.
The auto framing with the motion blur makes me nauseous. Maybe recording at a higher shutter speed will reduce the motion blur.
yeah I agree I thought about it, but wanted to keep my shutter at 1/48 because.... because lol
