Notice how that school in New York is literally intact? Something new, usually when they raise a flag it's over ruins already. Nice!
I've noticed this as well: this already occurred in Progress.
There is also more and more footage of old men and young boys surrendering. Brainwashed people tend to ignore it when the walls start crumbling but are suddenly shocked when the house collapses.
They're being smarter about not leveling everything, less they have to construct in future plus can be used by army atm
@@andrewmorgan5950 I wouldn't say so. It is just that they don't have to because the Ukrainians are falling back quickly, almost without resistance, which means no artillery or aerial preparation is necessary.

Ukraine forgot *they* were the Red Army at Kursk in 1943....
In 1941 Red army was mostly destroyed and formed again in the 1942, and since Ukraine was occupied by that time, there was not so much ukrainians compared to their pre-war population. They were drafted/volunteered to Red army late 1943-44 already, after Kursk. Once villages/cities liberated people were instantly joining/forced to join. On wikipedia there are statistics from which republics were soldiers, if in 1941 Ukrainians were almost the percent of their pop from all pop of USSR, but slightly less still I guess, maybe because of western ukrainians fighting reds in civil war, but in 1943 it was minimum ukrainians.
The western Ukrainians who are the leaders of this follow their own history to that of the Ukraine SS not to the Red Army
@@kirilld6206at the beginning of operation Barbarossa Ukrainians were favorable towards the nazis. "This is the last time they have to negotiate." 💯
Yet they are probably going to drag it out until after the US presidential elections, when their positions will be even wors than they are now.
The speedy Russian advances indicate that these areas are either undefended or that the defences give way almost immediately they are attacked.
What speedy Russian advances? I don't see any.
@@paullangford8179 Them you're not looking. At one point Ukrainian supporters were saying that at this rate (at the time) it would take the Russians 20 years to reach Kiev. Well someone did a calculation a few days ago and worked out that at the current rate of progress it would take just two. And beyond the Donbas there are hardly any fortifications, so things will go even quicker once the Donbas is cleared..

na! , the american version is more of a war zone(!!)
Probably don't even know where new york is on the map.
They did mix up Russian and American elections once so its possible
The only possible explanation for this "great" strategic move, is that all in ukraine's high command knows that they are done for.
They know that they cannot hold donbass any longer and do not bother with it. Everything will go down to negotiations sooner than later.
If they have some captured territory from russian mainland, then they have big leverage in incoming negotiations. But it always ends up backfiring hard.
This reminds me of that village near the dniper where the ukrainians managed to capture a couple of streets. It looked good for the media that was describing it has a foothold for something bigger but the thruth was it was hell, reinforcements and supplies were constantly being bombed, many trained soldiers drowned in the river and in the end after all that loss of materiel and personnel they left because they couldn't advance more than those couple of streets that were captured initially.
Их уже многих положили,а остальных,рассеяли....только больные и наркоманы могли пойти на этот прорыв...
Explanation is that they caught certain number of men in their streets therefore their master gave them extra weapons so they now able to construct a one more media act.
You r so right, an excellent analysis.
Thankyou Weeb, “Jaw Jaw is better than war war”. Real negotiations, no Minsk type deceptions. Fine analysis as usual!
Great updates, super cauldron forming , suppose more and more will develop as uaf deteriorates.
Correct. See the late phases of any peer conflict including the defeat in the field of the soviets in 1941.
Battles were lost 1941, there was no defeat of the Soviets, it was shock absorption, 42 about the same, 43 onward was Soviet offensive to Berlin.
Amazing what took place in a short time space.
Love the message at the end , it's true zelinsky needs to think about his Ukrainian people and tbh the world , last 12 months has been a disaster and russia hasn't even launched a big attack, they've lost over 600 miles in 2024 alone , there's still another 5 months left it could easily be double that , russia has adapted and can't be defeted , they can suffer loses but that's no issue hasn't ever been a issue for a thousand years for russian military doctrine . Very smart to attack along the flanks and cause so many postions this year to be withdrawn or they get encircled, very smart idea that saves soilders
Very good analysis

From DD Geopolitics, 8/6/2024:
"Against the backdrop of Ukrainian attacks, several Russian media reported that overnight - early in the morning, Russian UAV operators noticed a concentration of enemy forces along the border, but due to bureaucratic delays and fear of making a decision, no one gave the order to deliver a fire strike."
It accelerates.
We are about 1 month away from the anniversary of my estimate that Ukraine can hold out for 1 year, before the eastern half would be lost.
I was thinking that with the very large amounts of western aid promised this year, that my estimate could be thrown off. But not by a large amount. The manpower crisis is unfixable.
There are western weapons which could have a dramatic impact, even with the manpower crisis, but the west won't share such high tech where some of it would fall into foreign hands.
I do disagree with criticizing Ukraine's tactics here though. It just doesn't matter anymore. They have extremely limited options now. They are going to lose more and more rapidly at this point, and no amount of tactical brilliance can avoid it. It's nearly time for a front-wide withdrawal back towards the Dnieper, to reorganize a new defensive position to protect western Ukraine. At that point, Russia will have all of it's objectives and then some. And there's little reason for the conflict to continue.
I don't think the US elections will change the conflict. Russia will have all it wants and more by Jan 20, 2025. There won't be anything left to negotiate about, except perhaps whether western Ukraine can join nato or not. Putin might trade some land east of the Dnieper for that, I dunno. It's possible that China might broker a peace deal which saves a bit more of Ukraine, but Biden/Harris and the EU can't do it. And it'll be more or less over before there's a new president in the US.
It's not stupidity, it's desperation that's driving Ukrainian tactics/strategy.

The entire approach of Zelensky regarding his hapless troops almost reflects his experiences in the world of entertainment. He has sought spectacular, media-intriguing events rather than fixing on a strategy to win. The Russians by contrast have done the latter after a long period when it appears that the Russian high command simply could not believe that Zelensky and his gang of "comedians" would be this stupid and opt for all-out war. When, after over a year Putin and his closest advisers saw that Zelensky really WAS that stupid and wanted to cruise for a real bruising, backed by his sponsors, then the Russian war of relentless attrition kicked in and was thoroughly designed to grind all opposition to dust. Russia will accept nothing less than capitulation from the comedians now. Anything less would allow Zelensky's sponsors to mount further military engagements at some later date and obviously to incorporate what's left of Ukraine into NATO. Russia will not and must not allow any of this. Yes, join the EU, let them spend trillions of Euro on infrastructure but ONLY civilian infrastructure OR ELSE.
Choose a comedian for your leader and get comedy every day😂
The Russian strategy of attrition began in October 2022.

Once again, Syrskyi proved himself to be a good general. A Russian general.
I agree completely that the new Ukrainian offensive in the Sumi region is utterly stupid, with zero chance for success. Further more, stretching the line of combat is utterly moronic. Their forces are stretched thin, and this only worsens their situation by opening another front. If their thinking is that it will stretch out Russian forces they are truly delusional as Russia has more than 300000 reserves in the rear. Ukraine doesn't. A true case of 'cut your nose to spite your face'. Budanov, who organised this offensive, thinks he is clever with this move, but doesn't have the resources, manpower or equipment to make a significant impact, let alone sustain this offensive. To sum it up, think of this scenario. You have a fight with two bullies on your street. Your situation looks bad. Then you think it's a super clever idea to go look for another fight with two more neighbours in the street. It's illogical to think you will achieve anything.

What are your sources regarding the Russian border guards in the Sumy region? Reports that have come in over the past year indicate that Russia has no need to conscript manpower but that Russian men are volunteering at a rate around 1,500 per day. This was especially true when the terrorist attack took place in Moscow and though the number volunteering may have lessened somewhat there have been no reports to my knowledge that Russia has been conscripting for its armed forces. On a second related point the reports that have come in have shown that all volunteers to the Russian army receive more than adequate training, many months being spent on this, at least six months if not a year. Agin, where have you sourced your information on both these points. You appear to be misinforming your viewers here.
