Thanks for a very thorough guidance! Your instructions, are clear, concise, and oh so easy to follow!
I couldn't have assembled the Lat/Low Row without the help of this video. Thanks!
I just placed an order for this pulley system for my PR4000, this will be very helpful. Thanks for posting!
Awesome video. Well done! I have installed mine with no issues! Thank yiu
Dan - thank you for this video! Installed my lat row yesterday just by watching this! Couldn’t have done it without this!
Thanks for the guide! Helped out tremendously
Tremendous help to me yesterday, thanks for the outstanding job!! Tip, load the trolley on rod assembly before attaching to rear base unless you have over 20" clearance to ceiling from top of guide rods. One of best installation videos hands down!
Thanks George! Dan really IS the man - we're glad this installation video helped you when assembling your Lat/Low row. Great tip too for those with shorter ceilings.
@@REPfitness any tips on how to install this on a 6-Post-Rack with 41' rear-crossmembers. I made the mistake of ordering the 41' rear-crossmembers and not the shorter one... so it looks like my footprint inside the rack has a huge gap...
This guy needs a raise! Thank you!
I appreciate this video, made assembly so much easier.
Nice job!
Fantastic build video. I wish you were able to take that kind of time for the Aeres video. It probably would have been too long, but maybe a two part build? Watching it with time sped up wasn’t as easy to follow. I know this is an older video but love all the content. Thanks for all the hard work.
What about the selectorized plates?
Thanks for the video.
How much does the lat row attachment come in towards the inside of the rack. Still room for pull ups inside the rack?
I have just ordered the attachment and my rack has the 41" crossmembers.
Will there still be room to do pull ups from inside the rack with the multi grip pull up bar? I see Dan the Man has installed the attachment with the multi grip pull up bar on the rack, but hard to tell if there is still room up top to do a pull up from inside the rack without banging your head on the lat row attachment.
If there's not enough room I may need to change pull up bars.
At 6:13 of the video, Dan installs the trolley by sliding it over the top of the guide rod. That wont work with an 8-foot or 8.5 foot ceiling. You would need to change the process: first slide the trolley into both guiderods and then set the guiderods and trolley
into the base.
Is a metal rubbing sound normal with the trolly against the rails when lifting or does that mean I may have overtightened the guide rail screws causing the rails to not be completely straight?
It's possible you may have overtightened the guide rail screws - email orders@repfitness.com and we'd be happy to help you troubleshoot!
Put this together with my brother in law for his new garage gym. Got him the lat attachment as a house warming gift. Would not have put it together so easily without this awesome vid. Get those ISO arms in stock and I know what this guy is getting for Christmas!
Can the PR 4000 attachment be attached to the PR 5000 w/ 5000 stabilizer? (PR 5000 lat/low row attachment out of stock for a bit)
Was excited about installing this and unfortunately I only received box 2 of 2 which did not contain the guide rods or cables. Hopefully, REP sends the guide rods with the bench I ordered on the same shipment. 🤞🏻
I really don’t plan on bolting the pr-4000 rack into the concrete so is there a way I can secure it without bolting? Like do I need plywood or something underneath and bolt into that? If so, what exactly should I get?
Also, when will the front foot extensions be back in stock in case I do need it?
My rack is on the way. If you have a 6 post rack, I’d assume you install the main 4 post rack, then the rear stab with the lat/low, then the back two uprights for the easiest install route?
Are you able to bench comfortably in the rack if you have this lat attachment?
What is the measurement / distance between the back of the back uprights to the very end back point of the lat pull down attachment? I ask this so I know how far back I need to position my 6 post rack against the wall. TIA.
Is PTFE dry lube spray a good option for the lube, basically a teflon coating?
My trolley doesn't move on the rods very well. It takes a lot of force to get it to move up or down. In the video, his seem to slide down without any trouble. Did I get a defective trolley?
Thanks for the great instructions Dan - made setting up fast and easy.
QQ: Just received my 93” without cables. Can you tell me the lengths of top and bottom cables. I want to start using this ASAP:-)
Glad this wasn't just me, I looked everywhere for the cables and hadn't thrown the boxes out yet so I was pretty sure it wasn't me losing them - I wrote to them, showed them some photos and they mailed them to me within about a week
What are the spanners for? Did I miss it on the install?
How much space is needed behind the rack for the lat attachment? I plan to add this later so I want to make sure there is enough space from the wall.
With mine (4 post pr 4000) 35 3/8”. Know that adding a 45lb weight will add another 8-9” from the lat /row weight horns.
Don’t forget to lube the cable as well to reduce fraying
I have a pr 5000 and the lower piece does not attach to the stabilizer there is a 2 inch gap. I’ve flipped the stabilizer over I’ve tried putting it in loose nothing just doesn’t fit
@repfitiness I used this video as a guide to assemble the lat/low machine onto my Omni rack. 2 things I noticed:
1- there isn't any room for the footplate. I can use the low pull without it but wish someone would have told me that I didn't need it.
2- this is the main reason for the comment, how can I tighten the pulley cables?
Hey @dtbvisions! Can you please email us at orders@repfitness.com and we'll be able to troubleshoot these things for you!
Use a Turnbuckle instead of chain for tension ?
Has anyone had issues with the V2 rear base stabilizer? They changed the design so there is an even number of holes at the top where the lat/low row attachment goes. The way I'm seeing it is that it can't be centered in this case and either has to be offset to the left or right. Am I missing something?
Did you ever hear anything? Just got mine in and I’m seeing the same issue
How much ceiling height is needed to install the lat low row accessory with 80" power rack?
I have the 80 inch rack and when I added the lat low row attachment it added very close to 3.5 inches to the total height. From floor to highest point on lat low row attachment was 83 and a half inches.
For those that dont know, if you get a 93"" the pull up assembly increases height by 3~4 inches. Just realized my garage doesn't have clearance...
If you have the multigrip pull-up bar try mounting it inverted. That's what I had to do.
wish i had this last week lol
We're continuing to release new installation videos, so we'd recommend subscribing to our YT channel so you have quick access to them on your next REP assembly day!

Will this go on a rogue monster rack? As well as can you put the 80inch on a 90 inch rack ?
We can't confirm compatibility with other racks! And the height of your rack must match the height of your lat/low row
Is this lay pull down compatible with the 5000v2?
Howdy! A bunch of these arriving later this month - www.repfitness.com/rack-attachments/rack-accessories/5000-series-attachments/rep-pr-5000-v2-lat-low-row-attachment
I never received my rear base stebalizer :(
Are these ever coming back in stock? I’ve been waiting since Christmas and checking daily, like a psycho. The ETA’s have been coming and going but the site never shows them in stock.
Wondering if it's compatible with the Titan fitness x3 squat rack since the pr 4000 are the same??🤔
Hey Rudy, I am wondering the same. I checked the dimensions of both the X3 and this attachment and looks like they might match.
Was this discontinued? It's no longer on the site?
Good video what’s the dimensions in width and length want to know if it fits my house
We have two height options available for the lat/low row: 93" and 80". It will add 27" depth and 3" height to your rack. Email info@repfitness.com if you have additional questions!
@@REPfitness I plan to get the 4 upright 80"...I know these brushed clear parts are out of stock...so i will wait...you will be offering them again oneday again correct?
@@REPfitness please clarify that with a 45lb plate, it will add another 8-9” to your stated 27”. This was almost an issue with my tight space.
Hello, would it be compatible with Rogue RML-390F FLAT FOOT MONSTER LITE RACK?
Sorry, REP cable attachments (Ares, this, Athena, etc.) are only compatible with our racks.
Do u know if I will have full range of motion on lat pull down attachment on the pr5000?
Hi Marco - Yep! I've seen like 20+ comments of yours. You've got a lot of questions - drop us a line and let us walk you through any questions you've got all at once. repfitness.com/pages/contact-us
is this compatible with the SR- 4000 SQUAT RACK?
Unfortunately, no. The SR-4000 is compatible with most of our 4000 series attachments except for the REP Belt Squat and Lat/Low Row Attachment.
Is there a requirement to bolt down a 30" rack if I don't have weight storage but will have a front foot extension pair?
The front feet should be fine! Especially if you're working inside the rack. If you're working off the front of the rack, you'll either need to bolt it down, have weight storage WITH WEIGHTS on the back, or the front foot extensions. Email info@repfitness.com if you have additional questions!
Did you take off the rubber pieces on the bottom of the trolly?
Hey Eric! Please email orders@repfitness.com with questions about the assembly process!
I didn't get them in my delivery, was wondering if they aren't necessary or if they just forgot to send them.
@@Eric-sx5sv i have the same issue--i just emailed rep about it. i received 2 large metal "buffer washers" instead... and don't see where those go. A few of the parts also had some major scratches/scrapes... a continual problem with REP orders :( Maybe if Dan the Man ran their Quality Control, this wouldnt be a problem. Agreed--the video is great.
Did anyone figure this issue out? I just got my attachment today and it didn’t have the rubber pieces. Those metal ones don’t fit anywhere.
@@bradthecynical Sounds like this is a consistent error in their packaging. They responded today and said it's a mistake, and they'll get back to me re: when/how they'll get the "rubber donuts" to me. Those metal washers apparently are not used, and were included by mistake. I also had a few of the parts scratched up (as their packaging and/or Quality Control is a joke--almost everything I have received from REP has had some damage/scratches). I also had 2 plastic pieces fall out of one of the rear base stand pieces... apparently those are supposed to stay inside the piece, but mine slipped out. I'm also awaiting guidance on that. Needless to say--email them at "info" or "orders" @rep... they may take a day or two, but will reply.
Did this get discontinued? It's Not on the site anymore.
Just some site maintenance last week - up and live now! repfitness.com/collections/rack-attachments/products/lat-and-low-attachment-4000-5000
Will this fit with the additional weight storage?
Almost - it will extend a few more inches beyond the weight storage. We did a Live Q&A about the Lat/Low Row which you can find at instagram.com/tv/CGIeq07HUKy/?hl=en. Go to 6:30 for measurements with weight storage! Email info@repfitness.com with additional questions
Lol there's a few stuff that could definitely have been done different to be more efficient.
I received no guide rods with my order, great......
Hi Shane's world - please reach out to orders@repfitness.com and our CS team can assist. Also, it may be coming in another package... but I'm not sure, and our team will be able to help either way.
You need a 36 inch socket 😂
If you guys could make a little more room to fit a socket wrench on the weight horns that’d be great, by far the worst part of the entire build
What brand silicone spray did you use in the video? Any recommendations? A lot of people suggesting white lithium grease, which you recommend not using.
If you are assembling the 93" version in a room with a ceiling that is 108 inches high or less you will need to put the trolley on the guide rails before you stand it up. I followed the instructions as shown here and when I went to put the trolley on it was too tall for the garage ceiling. So I had to tilt the rails back and have someone help slide the trolley on.
This is exactly the info I was looking for, thank you.
You are a scholar and a saint. Thank you.
Same applies to the 80" version if you don't have much clearance above the rack. In either case, it's a great tip to just put the trolley on the rod assembly before attaching it to the rack!
