I was not a fan of her progression into absentmindedness later on in the series. I preferred her as the serious but flawed person she was in the beginning.
my head canon is that s1/s2 britta is just her being guarded and putting on airs, while airhead britta is the more real britta
Britta, Pierce, and Chang got worse. The Dean got funnier, but after a while it seemed like his only moments of competence involved getting to spend more time with Jeffrey.

Jeff not ending up with Britta was a war crime. Same with Annie and Troy although I know some will say Troy should end up with Abed.
In a previous episode, Jeff references that britta gave him the wrong number. That means, after she gave him the right number, he edited her number but left her name the same.
When i first started watching clips on this channel, i was as dewey eyed as S1 Annie. Now that im watching the same clip from an episode uploaded for a fourth time under a different title, I'm as jaded as S6 Britta.
They have to keep it alive until the movie comes out, and they probably ran out of footage a while ago.

Also I gotta disagree with Jeff here. I find it kind of endearing when an attractive girl calls me 'dude' as long as it's in a joking or non-serious way.
If she uses "dude" around you, she probably sees you as just a friend. Jeff was subtly hinting he wants to be more than friends with Britta.
@Kuriketto I know many jokes are made about how getting called 'dude' by a girl is essentially just being put in the 'friend zone' (a concept I have a lot of opinions about) but I personally don't care either way. Besides, even being 'just friends' with a girl itself can be difficult for many guys. But as for 'dude,' nowadays, and depending on where you're from, it's just a non-serious gender neutral way of addressing someone or a way to express strong emotion, no matter who you're talking to.
@@RaymondJiang444 I wasn't putting negative or positive connotations on the term. There's nothing wrong with being "just" friends with women. Just noting a reason why Jeff didn't like Britta using it with him. At this point in his character development, Jeff's ego is still adjusting to the idea of being brushed off by someone like Britta.
Britta used to be the eclectic intellectual one who challenged her friends to be better versions of themselves. Then she just devolved into the worst.
I guess her character just represents the whole show. It used to be smart at the beginning, but at the end it became pathetic

She still did that later. She got Abed into therapy and to talk to his dad, she got Jeff to confront his father, she was a big part of helping Troy mature, and her arc of self discovery was important

Do the "German" editors of this channel not actually understand the German language? They chose the title "Britta entdeckt, dass sie eine 'Heiße spanische Blondine' ist" for German audiences, which is clearly wrong: Britta does not discover that she's a "Hot spanish Blonde", but a "Hot Blonde from Spanish class". You could have even just listened to the actual German audiotrack, where we hear her say the logical translation: "Heiße Blondine, Spanisch-Kurs".
Why watch this in German at all?😅
@@AnnieB8844 I know. I don't. But for some reason CZcams decides that because my account is German, I surely want to see the titles in German translation (which is not the case) and also gives me the German audiotrack as default option, which I always have to switch back to English original.
Loved Britta in season 1! Tbh, i didnt mind it when they turned her into an annoying and slightly clueless SJW either. But then somehow her character just went downhill from season 3. Thats what i feel.
