    Can you send a boiling liquid (20 - bubble point air) to an expander?

      While most hydraulic expanders do not work in the 2-phase region, expanders that work in this region have been developed and used. There are many classes of hydraulic expanders that work up to about 10% vapor, but there are some designs reported for the LNG field that will work across the entire range of phases.
