What is ASMR? It is both a sensation and a medium.
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current, non-scientific name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally help induce this sensation, also referred to as "tingles", but also provide a relaxing, calming, soothing, therapeutic and even entertaining experience for the viewer.

"Subject was found at scene with evidence of synthetic hair, skin texture rock solid, Gatorade IV administered."
Object class: Euclid
Description: SCP- *redacted* is a male mannequin approximately 6.5 feet tall with the attire ofa business man. It's suit is of coconut brown with a button up shirt and black bow tie. It's skin is milk white and made of common plastic associating with the average shopping mall or clothing store mannequin.
Special containment procedure: scp- *redacted * is to be kept inside a level 4 humanoid cell with a four inch solid steel door with no less than two armed guards directly outside the entrance .
It should also be noted that for security reasons, it is to be kept under video surveillance at all times with no less than 4 CCTV cameras covering all angles in and outside of the cell. This is due to the incident following the containment breach on * redacted* that resulted in the loss of *redacted*.
Side notes: for some reason SCP- 049 has taken a real liking to it... Following the before mentioned containment breach scp-049 was discovered to be in its cell attempting to operate on it, and when approached By a test force became openly hostile to all who entered. After the loss of *redacted* lavender was used to calm scp-049 down enough to contain him without more loss.
When questioned scp-049 claimed that what he was doing was purely for the advance of his "cure" for the pestilence and that he attacked because he didn't wish to be taken away from "valuable research material" . he refused to go into detail about what he exactly did to it though, only responding " it may have not been my usual work doctor, but I assure you that would have helped immensely in furthering my research on the cure"
Side note: after three weeks of investigation SCP -049 was allowed to keep the SCP for his research in place of actual human test subjects. He is only allowed to do his research under armed guard and cameras, however following an incident of SCP-49-2 with the mannequin.

The repairman mentions some new modifications to us in the video where he cleans the computer, he said "are those tentacles?" and points to his chin. This most likely implies that we have been given tentacles on our lower facr. Cthulhu has tentacles on his lower face.

Kyle Simpson That could be interesting, especially considering Corvus was apparently disfigured in a car accident. However, I really hope Rift never has Corvus take his mask off. To me, that mask more or less IS his face, and to see him without it on would destroy all the creepy mystique Rift's managed to build up over all these videos. Plus I'd rather not go insane!

Kyle Simpson I believe in previous "lore" Corvus has lost his body before, and Professor Clemmons holds up the mask and says something to the effect of finding a new body for him, as if the MASK is what contains Corvus. You have to remember, these are not reliable narrators when they are directly talking to us. In Corvus's plague video it's not actually the 1400s, it's the Plague Ward of the sanitarium and you're a delusional patient that THINKS it's the 1400s. So while they tell us that, "Oh Yes, Corvus wears the mask because his face is disfigured" the things the Professor has said in private make it seem like there is something a little more strange going on with Corvus and the mask.

As a guy who has had a really hard time landing the proper job despite a bunch of interviews, this video and the recent candyman are pretty nice. its comforting to feel like you are being mentored, or taken under someone's wing. I think the theme is really interesting, and i'd like to see more videos tailored to finding meaningful or interesting work, or being selected despite having low experience because of good qualities or effort. Nice work as always.

By the way, plague doctors should still be a thing tbh because they're awesome, and maybe the plague doctor costume can be handy to make it less likely to catch a virus. Probably not though.
If I remember correctly, they usually filled the "beak" of the mask with perfumes in the hope that it would ward off the illness. It worked about as well as you'd expect.
You're almost right. The "beak" was typically filled with special herbs and remedies-posies, spices-to stave off airborne contaminants. It actually worked better than expected, only issue was the rest of the attire. Their solution? A heavy waxed overcoat. Not joking. They'd spread wax over their attire to help seal their skin off.
