We live in a small godforsaken country of bulgaria but we did order a Rav 4 PHEV a fewdaysago and in 8-ish months toyota said it will arrive! I can't express howexcited Iam for the possibility of owning such a nice and fuel efficient vehicle! Isure do hope it is as awesome as all the reviews make it look like

@@tracksandtrees Quite substantial actually... we only have one trim level : Style. It does have most of the important things like the 10.5 inch infotainment, the 12.3 digital gauge cluster, the 19 inch wheels, 9(not 11 for some reason) JBL speakers... but sadly they didn't have anyway of adding a sunroof AT ALL, no heads up display, no memory seats for the driver which wouldhave been nice for me and my wify... It is an incredibly beautiful vehicle though. I do prefer it even over the Lexus lineup,which is more expensive. Why does eastern europe not get the trim levels that u guys over in NOrth America get ? :D

Hi, great review! It's nice to see Canadian models reviews, there are so much for the US model and they have some key differences.
My prime should arrive in a few Weeks (2 years wait!) and I'm wondering what is the part number for the cargo cover that also covers the rear seat?
It seems my local dealer can only find the one that covers the trunk area and not the seats.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago, and it arrived 10 days later. Picked it up yesterday. With the cargo liner that covers the rear seats. I'm told I got lucky. Very lucky! I live in BC
Great vehicle but Toyota needs to make more of them. Forget the bz4x and build more of these.
I think I’m in the same boat as you! Full electric stresses me out haha. I love having the option of both! Then there’s no need to worry on road trips or power outages!
@@tracksandtrees I agree 💯. You could make several rav4 prime batteries with the same amount of raw materials it would take to make one bz4x battery and rav4 prime is a much more realistic vehicle at this point and time. I'm all for electric vehicles but I don't think they will be a viable option for most people until solid-state batteries become a reality.
Great video! Question, I thought the XSE trim gets the 10.5 inch touchscreen, but it looks like the 8 inch screen in the video?

Yeah they both have that sporty red stitching hey! I keep saying I should order one of these.. by the time it comes in it might be a redesign haha
the Yokohama Avid GT is not a snow tire. I do not recommend it unless you wanna be skiing in your beautiful prime.

With this model the number 1 complaint of engine noise is a non issue with the electric battery. Also, with 302 HP performance goes to next level.
Too bad EV rebates don’t apply with it’s massive price.
Rebates do apply here in BC! Our current price including fees is $58,375 CAD and there are two rebates of $5,000 and $2,000 if eligible 😊
They are such a fantastic vehicle, I love the option of electric or hybrid!

What is the approximate wait time if I want to go with RAV4 XLE Premium Hybrid open to any color?
It’s really hard to say! At one point we were saying it could be 2-3 years… now we are so unsure of time frames we have been saying 2-36 months on all vehicles! No way of knowing what models we will receive, or when unfortunately

Unfortunately it’s order-only at this point! I’d say the sooner you do so and the more open you are to colours and packages, the more likely you will get one sooner 😊

You cannot change gears manually… it’s not a 6-speed transmission :))😂
It is a CVT but does have the option for belong in control of ‘shift points’ and rpm 😊 can be handy for driving in rougher terrain or using the transmission to slow you down instead of braking. Hope that helps you out!

I really wanted to watch this because I have enjoyed other reviews by you, and I am definitely considering the purchase of this car. But, I cannot hear what you are saying because the wind noise picked up by your microphone is overpowering your voice. Very disappointing and annoying.
