TL;DR premise is that she rejected AscNet even harder.

I think alpha refuse it because what it did to her sister too, like they abandoned luna, and that is something that enter a kill list in alpha book (she even kill Gabriel and hunt him down relentlessly too) and also why she hates human (of course not shikicum as her other self believe in shikicum fully)

as far I understood that "body" doesn't completely belong to alpha, it's like a vessel made of punishing and she controlled it temporarily, thats what the last few seconds tells me because we see alpha carrying those medals, or that lucia that we see is gray raven's lucia? idk.
about the PV, it was amazing, i expected it to be longer, but it's probably because I'm too used to watch Honkai 3rd animations lmao

To be honest, I expected her to use her katana more in the finale of the video, but it was somehow fast
It's make sense now that how Lucia was able to push Alpha back even in her new frame, I guess she's not familiar with it yet when Lucia found her. Idk the story in CN so idk why the virus is so onto Alpha that it chase her down that relentless. But it make sense for her frame to be powerful since the virus is also evolve.
Well most of those who have been infected by the punishing will be chased down and tormented by it until they accept it, somehow (i don't know the whole story) but alpha has done the complete opposite and made the punishing leave HER alone is what I'm guessing
Basically the punishing was fed up with not being able to control her and tried to force her to submit and she still beat it
Punishing wants her to become an agent by " inviting " her, it did become more and more pressing by the time being, leading to...what we see a rebellion
So that blue light in her eye and on her blade is the filter tower's energy, right? It seems like that's what they mean considering she just saw Lee convert the tower and now she's passing filtering for like the thirtieth time without accepting ascnet
And with how the tower is connected to the Merciful One (right?) I guess maybe she was remodeled the same way?
to explain the tower i would need to get into some details that can be kinda hard to explain on youtube but ill try, that the tower was a test of evolution, to humans and to the punishing virus, the test is being made by some higher dimensional entities. Lee passed the test but refused to ascend since that would mean leaving everyone he loves behind so he refuses and instead transformed the tower in a huge febrezze air purifier. And the boss isn't the merciful one it's a projection of the entities

@@whatamess8894 Well first off It's not about length, Honkai was able just fine with 4-5 mins of animation. It's mostly about pacing scenes. They are rather erratic here, build up is interrupted multiple times, a lot of scenes happen too fast etc. Literally you could add about 20-30 seconds worth of additional scenes, some transitions and some VFX and the feel would be totally different.
For the most part until Alpha arrives at mountain, animation is fine but I would personally add touch of urgency where, riding scene would be a tad bit longer but she gets pursued by the Virus and at the end as she thought she fled from it, it suddenly catches up to her resulting in the in the black mud scene we saw. Here you could also add screen tears/black screens to make it looks like she is loosing conciseness to increase the feeling of desperation and struggle. Also it would be nice to see chains stuck to her feet as she gets pulled down into the water, since she was taken down by the robots into the mud. From here the mental struggle begins. It goes on just fine until the kick scene where Babel is mentioned (on the kick scene lightning VFX would be appreciated). From here where the last strand of Punishing goes to confront her, it would switch to the scene where she holds her sword vertically and camera goes up and goes back to where she catches the virus energy but instead here she would break it and then transition to a scene where it starts with black screen and her eye energy flares up, while slowly unveiling her face. And then she pulls out the sword, while being very Motivated.
Either way it's a big progress compared to Liv animation where animation felt stiff and unnatural. Here, I have no complains on the animation itself.
@@iruui2369 you don't understand, like i said, the animation is not an accurate story. These animations are almost somekind of metaphor or summary of what we will have in the current story, it's not supposed to be the same pace, obviously a lot of the content here will happen quickly and etc because it's not about something accurate from the story, it's just more to imply that alpha is going to have this internal meltdown with the punishing virus inside her.
she won't appear from the ground with a new frame kekw someone will probably find her unconscious and help her and give her a new frame, like ishamael already did that with roland and selena... well, i don't know how it will actually be in the story, dont take this animation so literally.
The liv animation itself, many parts were not accurate either. The alpha animation is even less

@@arthurgeier2545 The problem is that when she fought Von Negut within the Crimson Abyss she was helped by Lucia and strike Hawk, however Von Negut didn't take them seriously and win against them without using any of his abilities.

I'm curious if AscNet actually has that much of a hard on for Alpha Lucia that it truly wants her to be the ruler of Babel or if it says that kind of sweet talk to all the Agents? As an Alpha fan, I am inclined to think she's the one it really wants and all the other agents are side chicks lmao. And I am eternally proud of Alpha for telling it to fuck off. She knows what her freedom is worth. Basically told it "If you're gonna force your power on me, I'm just going to use it to break free." That just reaffirms everything that makes her so fucking cool on my eyes. She deserved the Global Edenfest win and the 3rd Year Anniversary glow-up. My devotion as an Alpha stan has been thoroughly vindicated with this release.
