Vegan food must be extremely expensive in Mongolia, seeing as the climate is unsuitable for growing most vegetables and grains, and the stuff would have to be imported. I also see that the menus are in English, so that would mean the restaurants cater mainly to foreign tourists.
Not "extremely" expensive. Just a reasonable price.
Is not expensive. Prices are like eat meaty foods. Bosco Verde have very good meals and the place is very peaceful.

I respect Mongolian vegans but I would encourage those vegans to look into the diet of a "lacto-ovo-vegetarian", which I would imagine to be much more suitable and compatible to the Mongolian life style.

Actually, we Mongolians have a tradition of not eating any meat in the summer 🙂. Unfortunately this had lost recently
