A video I received tons of requests to do again since last year. Here it is, my ENTIRE updated Blu-Ray Collection video!!! This will now become a new, yearly tradition on my channel to show my entire Collection at the start of every new year, seeing I buy new Blu-Rays almost every week. I have a 175 Blu-Rays as of the filming of this video and I show you guys everyone, while I briefly discuss my thoughts on the movies I own. I have been collecting since late 2011 and my entire collection is alphabetized. I also just got two new small bookshelves to fit all my Blu-Rays in. I apologize for the extremely long length of the video guys, but I wanted to show you guys everything I own, as well as give my thoughts on some of the films I have watched and bought. What do you guys think of my Collection? What titles do you recommend I buy? What do you have in your collection?

I think Jumper is highly underrated. What Doug Liman was able to do with that film at the time and with the budget was amazing. Jumper is a great film!

Aseel Salem I actually have Forrest Gump on DVD, along with several other greats like Saving Private Ryan or Schindler's List. I'll have to do a DVD Collection over the summer or something. But I do hope to get the Terminators soon. Thanks for watching!

Great video! Awesome collection. I envy you in a way because you have so many great movies to catch up on. You remind me of myself when I was in my early to mid-20's when I just started to consume every film I could get my hands on. Braveheart and Gladiator are two of my favorites. Goodfellas, Godfather and Lord of the Rings in your future. So lucky. Add Big Lebowski to your list of Coen brothers films you have to see. As well as Fincher's The Game.
I think it's great that younger people are going back and watching classic films from years ago. I wish more young people would do that.
I grew up with Back to the Future and it's great to hear that you watched it for the first time. I have a huge DVD collection, but my Blu-ray collection is pretty wimpy. You've inspired me to start collecting Blu-rays.
Also, you might have to watch Fight Club again. It gets better upon subsequent viewings. Lastly, you don't have to apologize for the length of your videos. We subscribe because we enjoy your videos. Keep 'em coming no matter the length. Speaking of length, sorry this reply is so long.

All of the Transformers films get so much hate, but really, they are cinematic achievements in many ways. People bash the acting, but I think the acting is very good considering a lot of what is going on, actually isn't going on. They are playing the parts they are supposed to play. Also, the mix between practical and visual effects on the TF films are amazing. The stories are great, remember, TF itself is a vast universe with pretty simplistic stories (cartoons, comics, mangas, films, etc). The cinematography, the directon, the camera work, the sound mixing, the score, there is just so much that these films offer if people would just get off of the hate bandwagon. I literally walked out of TF:DotM and my friends friend says I hate Michael Bay, all he does is put helicopters infront of the sun... and yeah, people hate Bay and his films for the most idiotic reasons if you ask me. I remember watching other Bay films, Armageddon.. The Island.. and my one friend saying how much he loves them.. then found out they were Bay films, and instantly said.. they aren't good at all. It was like.. really? Lol, people can be just idiotic with their reasoning for hate.
*when I mean walked out of, I mean after the credits had rolled and the lights came back on.
Cinematic achievements? The cinematography is nothing original... the DP just copied other movies
S&S Pictures Yes, and the cinematography is original. The DP didn't just copy other movies, especially when Bay is pretty much his own DP.

I might do a video one day, but I guarantee it would be over an hour! I'm a female collector with 1800 blu ray movies and 300 DVDs, not including my TV sets. It's pretty insane. But you have a decent collection...watch goodfellas!!!!

Great video Mike. You have a lot of fantastic movies. You should really check out finchers the game if you haven't, it's one of his best. Also, not trying to pressure you, but you really need to watch Goodfellas asap. Like it should be the next movie you watch. Also, I think you should rewatch fight club, it gets better with repeat viewings.

I would watch it sooner, but I would like to catch up on some more Tarantino and the Coen brothers before I move to Scorsese, seeing I just watched The Departed and Taxi Driver for the first time this past summer. I also plan to rewatch Fight Club, several others have also recommended a rewatch for me.
Check out the big lebowski for the coens, really funny. Also, make sure to see reservoir dogs, my favorite Tarantino movie
Yeah, wanna see Reservior Dogs, as well as Django and Inglorious. I might watch one more of his though and wait until the end of the year to see more of his, seeing that The Hateful Eight is coming out! Lebowski is also on my list, probably will check it out sometime after Fargo and No Country for Old Men.

+autobotmike18 I totally agree with you mike, the Sam Raimi Spider man trilogy is way better then the amazing Spider-Man and the amazing Spider-Man 2. And Peter Parker dancing like a fool was actually my favorite part of Spider-Man 3😂lol. Love your videos

What is the size of your shelf it fits the blue rays perfectly?
Sebastian Molina The dimensions of the shelf in l x w x h is 8 x 12 x 36. And you can adjust each shelf sing the pegs to your own preference height wise.
Good collection. Transformers age of extinction Is also a good movie and all the other transformers are good as well but revenge of the fallen is best in my opinion.and the town is my favourite movie as well.

im afraid to watch interstellar. I would love to see it and I absolutely love sci fi, but I watched inception and did not like it, and I have also heard that interstellar is very similar, but I want to like it.

S&S Pictures If I see great movies for cheap prices, I buy them no matter what. I just don't have time to watch them all because I'm busy in film school. But over the summer I will be watching. I actually have seen Return of the King when I was younger, but not for me to remember it or whatever.

It upsets me how some people just buy movies just to have them even if they have never seen them. I mean, I'm shocked that you've never seen some of the movies you own.

+cinecreep I actually got them really cheap from Wal-Mart for like $30 all together, I believe. I forget the exact name already, but I know they are in the bookshelf/desk section of Wal-Mart

Obessed with VFX Thanks for watching man! I will definitely watch Goodfellas and Godfather II soon. I can still be a fan of Scorsese if I haven't seen one of his best films. I have seen two of his best, even Wolf of Wall Street as his third best, and I feel those two (Taxi Driver and The Departed) are two of my all time favorites.

You praised Shawshank Redemption more than any other film here, because you saw the imdb top 250 movies of all time list. You were talking about Titanic like it was a bad movie (wtf has the internet done to you). Just be yourself dude.
Shine Spark Maybe I praised The Shawshank Redemption because it's one of my favorite films of all time? Did you not see me rave about Se7en, Drive, The Departed, Mud, or Prisoners, etc. I own The Shawshank Redemption because it has been recommended time after time to me by a number of subscribers. Praising The Shawshank Redemption has absolutely nothing to do with the IMDB Top 250 list or compared to whatever critics say about it. I am my own critic and I am never 'easily persuaded' by a critic to love something just because they love it. Yes, I have a ton of classics I haven't watched yet, but maybe that's because I'm only 18 and trying to catch up on everything I've missed in the span of decades... So what if I own a lot of classics? Do film critics make me buy them? Or, do the wonderful subscribers I have here on CZcams recommend them to me because they're beloved by the public. Great classics like Shawshank, or Die Hard, or Taxi Driver are not just beloved by the critics, they're beloved by the general moviegoing community. Also, Titanic is a great movie, when did I say it was bad? I wanted to tell a quick story that I got it for five bucks on Black Friday and that I'd normally never buy it because it's always like 20 bucks. I'm sorry if I made it sound like I felt it was bad, but it's not. It's not one of my favorites, but it certainly is not bad. You're jumping ahead to conclusions that aren't true.

Dylan Smith Actually got them really cheap from Wal-Mart. They were only like 15 bucks a shelf actually. Kinda cheap to put together, but honestly, they're worth it, They get the job done.

Why buy movies you don't enjoy
matthew w I enjoy 90% of these movies. Some that aren't great, I may just buy for the spectacle (like Battleship, 2012) Others I may like at first, then dislike upon repeat viewings (hence why I hate The Amazing Spider-Man series)
