Same could be said about women searching through their man's phone without him knowing, claiming he's cheating when he isn't. Yes some do actually cheat, but most don't, and it's just a sign of women's inability to trust their partner cos they're always pinning the blame on their man for everything.

The show’s called “No Good Nick”, and for context, the girl Nick, uses the phone to contact the people who taught her how to rob people blind (closest thing she’s had for parents her whole life), and while yes, she does change her mind later in the show, in this moment of the show, she’s manipulating them to keep them from finding out she’s trying to rob their family, and Jeremy’s like the only one suspicious of her actions, he’s going through her stuff for the purpose of protecting his family, so doing a wrong thing for the right reasons

Okay so basically I see where everyone is coming from with the whole don’t go through my stuff thing but in the show it’s actually not her room. It’s the girl with bangs, Molly’s. So when she found it it’s kind of Nick fault for hiding it there because yeah technically it is her phone and yeah Molly did say she would share the room with Nick, its still the family’s property. And I get that it sucks to have Jeremy constantly annoying you but it would be different if he wasn’t right, which he was. Long story short she was using the phone to call her old foster parents and her dad to carry out a plan to rob the house make the parents lose their business, get Jeremy expelled and even make Molly lose all her friends so yeah hate to side with Jeremy here but if you saw the whole show you would know he is kinda the good guy

See the thing is it doesn’t matter if she’s lying about why she has the phone or not.
The fact that he snuck into a room and searched the vents for something that she hidden shows that there is a legitimate reason for her to hide her stuff from him.
At that point, it doesn’t matter if he found evidence on that phone that said that she was taking drugs or something.
The fact that he searched her room so thoroughly as to check the vents, validates her paranoia, as well as why she shouldn’t be open to people she can’t trust.
Essentially, the guy shoots whatever moral high ground, he thinks he has in the foot.

They knew what was mine and needed permission to touch, house items and toys that everyone got to use and share, and their own personal property they didnt have to share or let others touch without their permission. There was free for all food they could access no questions asked between meals... Explanation:
The girl who punched the tall dude's name is Nick. And Nick is a foster kid. Her dad is in jail for robbing a convenience store and her mother is dead. The tall dudes name is Jeremy and the other girl behind her is named Molly and they are siblings. Nicks father thinks that Jeremy's family is responsible for why he is in jail. Because the mom owns a restaurant and so did nicks dad before he went to jail. Jeremy's mom's (Liz) restaurant was struggling while Nick's dad's restaurant ( franzellis) was going great. So Liz undercut their prices and Jeremy's dad ( Ed) denied their bank loan, Molly posted fake bad reviews on yelp or something and Jeremy stole fliers that nick and her father spent their last dollars on. Because money was so tight and the restaurant was struggling, the date made bad decisions. One of them was making a deal with the Mafia or something and then struggled to pay it off so he robbed a convenience store. Then cops came and arrested Nick's father. Then Nick went into foster care and her foster parents are con artists. The foster parents teach her how to be a con artist and she is really good at it. Then to scan the family, she gets out into Jeremy's house as a foster kid. Everyone but Jeremy was friendly and accepting. Jeremy always had a suspicion on Nick. That suspicion was right because Nick's mission was to steal and get back at the Thompsons for running her life with her dad. Also they don't know that she isn't supposed to be there and her real foster parents are the con artists. And then they found her secret phone that the con artists gave to her just in case something happened, and started questioning her about it and Nick started getting scared so that's why she punched him.

@@powerrangerblue8566i mean to be fair their family acted in a predatory manner to her dads business, which lead to his business going under, and her dad going to prison as a result of stealing so they can get by. It also lead to her bouncing around the foster system, but its her at fault?!
Get fucked everything she said is true, unless youve been in those situations where a hidden second phone saves your ass, dont make judgements on it. I guarantee based on your comments that youve never actually faced child abuse (like actual abuse, not just getting a smack or being sent to your room for playing up). For context, I actually am a survivor of child abuse, i spent 14yrs with my step dad beating the shit outta me for no reason, every, single, day. Late from school, thats a belting. Protected yourself from bullies, thats a belting, he got high and paranoid in the shed, thats a belting. Scream at your sibling because they just used your new game from your birthday as skates on the floor? Thats a belting. And thats only a handful of situations. I can go on for hours.
So again unless youve been there stfu.

For everyone confused, the ONLY reason she's even like this is because these kidd and their parents were intimidated by the restaurant she and her father had opened for a long time, so they did everything in their power to destroy their business. Which caused them to lose their customers, then their restaurant, then, because they were so poor, it lead to her father, in a desperate attempt to get them out of poverty, to steal. He was caught and taken to prison, where the girl was then taken from him and she forever stayed in the foster system, where she bounced from home to home, some better, some worse. So while what she was doing was wrong, she was just giving them the BARE minimum of what they did to her.

However, she WAS stealing and she WAS constantly lying in prior episodes, and she was carefully using practiced foster care issue responses to cover up that the reason for the hidden phone was to communicate with those who had her stealing.
He had the right to completely ignore her practiced foster care issue responses and press her for the actual truth because he had enough experiance with her to know she was FoS.

I never had a secret phone but it’s sad that I felt like I needed to hide food and blankets and whatnot. Some foster “families” only see foster kids as and extra salary. I had a couple of foster families where I couldn’t sleep in an actual bed or eat with the family. Sometimes the parents would punish me for harming their kids when their kids really just hurt themselves to get me in trouble. The parents knew this bit of info too! I’m just happy that God blessed me with a family that is understanding. I’m 18 now and the only things I hide or keep secret is memories that my, now, forever home have given me. 😊
