@ReadIcculus93 I'm 27 so I was kinda young for the 2006 SB. I remember going crazy for hesters returns but that's about it. My earliest bear memories are getting an Urlacher jersey signed and high fiving peanut.
@@kangaroocourt9507 2006 was bitter sweet. I didnt think the Bears had a shot at beating the colts, but I was just happy they got there. I had no clue I wouldn't see them get back there after all this time. Looking back, I'm glad I soaked it all in when it happened, even if we lost.

As much as I love this show, it's not the same without Wildes. His intros, his delivery, and his mumbling under his breath are stars of this show.

Let's be honest. Fields could easily get all those playmakers the ball, too. Caleb is set. If he's just a little above average starter, the team will be really good in a couple years.
I'm a 45 year old lifer bears fan. This is the most realistic optimism I've had about our offense ever. The fefence I think proved itself the last 7 weeks of last season the bears are on the way to being great
The Bears are not worried about the lions, lol. They beat them last year and typically own them in head to head matches.

It’s not all on Caleb. The bears were 7-10, could have been 10-7 with those double digit 4th quarter blown games, but were 7-10 with below average qb play. Caleb just has to be competent and avoid costly mistakes while he allows the talent on offense and defense to do the heavy lifting

there is a concern with the coach, the division is ascending and both lions and the packers drafted a lot of defense and the packers finally got rid of joe barry so the defense can only get better and swift is leaving the best run oline in the eagles to the bears ol which is good at tackle but not interior so running the ball will be intresting
All I've heard is how fields wasn't good and Caleb is a generational talent with 2 1000yrd proven talents and a top 10 receiver they need to get at least 10 wins they won 7 last year with not great circumstances so I need at least 3 more wins.

The only thing we're worried about as Bear fans is what every team fan worries about and that is their team staying healthy. Especially, the QB. In our case, Williams. When we look at his style of play we can easily compare him to Mahomes, Rogers, Wilson, Tua and Murray. They like to extend plays with their elusiveness in the pocket. The problem that can come with that is "injuries." All those QB's mentioned have dealt with this problem. Williams "NEEDS TO BE GREAT AT SLIDING AND THROWING THE BALL AWAY WHEN THERE'S NOTHING." It will be his toughest challenge in the league." If he doesn't get "great" at those things he'll take a beating... he'll get injured.
Other than that, if he gets out there and protects himself he'll play every game! Yeah... We expect at least 10 wins, the 7th seed playoff berth, 4000+pass yards, 30+ Td's. Anything more would be fantastic!

I will never understand how talking heads can say things like there is a better chance the beats are in the conference championship than they are bad when the bears have been bad for nearly 20 seasons, and that the offense will be that much better… but will then say the packers were only good because of the offense, and that the defense isn’t good, and i guess won’t get better, even though they’ve made moves to do just that?

Like so far the dude been real bad as a HC. You can argue maybe it was personnel, but damn they have had rough stretches where the team doesn't look ready.
The Bears won 7 games last year after starting 0-4, having one of the worst OCs in the league, a QB that couldn’t consistently throw the ball, and no receiving threats outside of DJ and Kmet. They’ve added Keenan Allen coming off arguably his best season, Rome Odunze, DeAndre Swift coming off his best year, Gerald Everett, and U can’t forget about the slam dunk number 1 overall QB Caleb Williams. Not to mention they also added depth to their line, a new Center, and added Kevin Byard to the defense. To think they will be bad is insane. I doubt they’re gonna be in the conference championship but they’re gonna be a good team.
Even if they play a conservative offense, it’s still going to be less conservative than what they did last year. A balanced attack, a solid running game, hopefully a very strong passing game since we have the quarterback to do that. This Bears team should be More focused on passing but still balanced. And hopefully the special teams will also be a big part of it and the acquisitions we made should make it easier for both sides of the ball. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears won 10 games so if the new quarterback is winning, and the offense is humming along then there’s no reason to believe the Bears can’t be first or second place in our division. We have a top 10 defense, we have one of the most talented receiver rooms, with Experience and some rookies. Above average running game… This team will build chemistry and continue toimprove every week, I can’t wait for it to happen.

I think it’s certainly disappointing if Chicago doesn’t make the playoffs based on their roster, but it’s not necessarily an abject failure if they don’t. This is just an issue of the NFC is not as wide open this year (Nick being absolutely wrong about the NFC) The only really “bottom feeder” teams this year are Washington, New Orleans, Carolina, and New York.
Teams like Seattle, Arizona, Tampa, Atlanta, Minnesota probably won’t make the playoffs, but could certainly steal some games from the wild-card and even top tier NFC team.
So is there a world where Chicago makes the playoffs? Yes. Is there a world where they make a deep run like Nick seems to think is more likely than them playing poorly? Probably not, but I think is right to an extent. I would be surprised to see them suck, but they would have to knock off someone out of Philly, San Fran, Detroit, Dallas, LA, Green Bay, whoever wins the NFC south, plus have a better record than an aforementioned mid team who can definitely take a game or two from anybody.
I'd rather have Trubisky than caleb.... most important thing in the NFL is the ball in your possession. That's not something Caleb is ever going to be good at. He's like closer to Russell Wilson today than he is Patrick Mahomes
