Going to add another vote to the "wow, this is fucking delicious" camp. I simmered some sliced garlic and ginger in the broth and threw in a couple bunches of enoki mushrooms for volume. This is one of the best soups I've ever had.
I really had my doubts, I really did. But I went to the store and picked up the couple of ingredients I didnt already have (Rice noodles, Cholimex sauce and Thai basil) and made this recipe. Holy shit! this was really good! your'e going to save me some $$$, my man! hahaha! Even my wife, who's not a fan of Pho, is on the couch sick with a cold chowing down on this instant pho and she said it tasted very good and she needed some brothy goodness in her system. Thanks! I'm a believer now :)
I have never tried pho. Im not really into strong fish flavour or really spicy things but everytime i see this i want it lol. Do you have any tips or do you think i should just skip it?
@@loobylooroden6176I've not tried the recipe in this video but I can assure you that pho from restaurants does not have an outright fishy flavour! The fish sauce just gives it a deeper flavour but you won't really be able to taste it. Pho itself is also not spicy at all unless you add your own chillis to it! Give it a try! It's one of my favourite noodle soups ever.

I made instant veggie pho one day but instead I toasted coriander seeds, star anise, black pepper, and green onion and then added the broth and simmered for a bit... it tasted so close to the real thing 😍😍😋😋

What diet where pho isn’t allowed? If it’s bc of the noodles in just add a ton of bean sprouts right at the end so they’re kind of softer like a noodle. It’s SOOO yummy!

yeah when I went to the US I didn't see any and it's my favourite PB (I'm also canadian) But if you want to know how it tastes like, it's very similar to skippy but I prefer Kraft more it's much more smoother and more punch of the nuttiness. If you're not as critical on food in general then it tastes like the PB skippy LOL

Which I was kinda skeptical cuz I knew even then they cut the meat really thin and use the hot broth to cook the meat. Idk it was so fast to make so I said what I said. Aslo whether it's right or wrong I always called Pho ("faa" is how I pronounced it)
