intern is one of my favorite songs by her but i've always been disappointed by her live version of the song because she omits the twinkling synths which is my favorite part :/
Kelly Nguyen the synths do take it to the next level
Kelly Nguyen she doesn't necessarily omit them. The entire album was recorded live and as such there are things you cant recapture another time around. Like the guitar solo in Sister, Stewart messed up on it but they loved it so much they didn't do a second take. But since he can't intentionally mess up the part a second time the way he did it on the record, the song doesn't sound the same in other live versions of the song.
