Sea-going tug Elbe voyage: Maassluis, Netherlands - Helgoland and Hafengeburtstag Hamburg 2015

Active museum sea-going tug 'Elbe' made a voyage from homeport Maassluis in The Netherlands to Helgoland in Germany and the Hafengeburtstag in Hamburg, Germany.
The Elbe accommodated passagiers on this voyage an in Hamburg she made several day tours with more passengers.

This takes me back, I used to be an ocean going tugman for United Towing Co of Hull in the UK. I was on a tug called the Serviceman and went all over the world and I was only fifteen yrs old when I started.
I always dreamed of winning the lottery and buying an old Tug boat and converting it to a yacht, oh well, one can dream

The large old white cargo vessel is the 'Cap San Diego'. She is from 1962 and is now a museumship with Hamburg as here homeport.
