@@davidknell8831 Same thing that happened for us in 2018 final.Referee's 2 mistakes that should have been fixed with VAR cost us 2 goals,even though we were completely outplaying France.I was watching the game in a bar and even though majority of people wanted France to win,everyone was commenting on the referee.

To win a tournament, you typically need players capable of seizing the initiative at crucial moments in the biggest games. Basically, we'll have to hope Bellingham is 100% fit and firing on all cylinders.
We can't rely on one player; we have to rely on the squad/roster.

When is the penny ever going to drop with some England fans that we're never winning anything whilst Southgate is still in charge? You could put Gareth Southgate in charge of Manchester City, they would stop winning things. Even great teams like England need a charismatic, elite manager who builds team morale, even more so when they're away for 4-8 weeks during these tournements. England players must get bored as hell away on international duty with Southgate in charge and it shows in their performances in the latter stages of tournaments under him.

I would be very surprised if this England team make the finals. Why? no matter how many "Star players" in this team, they are always slow in the build up to get the ball forward. Given that the majority are saying they will win, as for me I can not see them doing it. "I think we can win it" if you are that confident then you should be saying "We will win it". Think what Brazil did they were happy to let England have the ball, knowing that England are too slow in moving the ball forward. Then they pounced scoring the only goal. Yes these players play well for their prespective Clubs but not that good for England.
