Zeref and Mavis’ story is one tragic love story. Zeref was a very misunderstood character but he did purposely cause the death of many people too. He only wanted his brother alive, that was literally all he wanted, to have a chance of reviving his brother, but the curse came upon him and the rest became history. 🥲
