Shanti Dope was Discovered by Glock9 and he's been around since he was very young and learned from the real OG's. Then Incorporated what he learned and mixed it with the new school. Even if you don't understand the lyrics. You can hear how he can break it down into many different styles of rapping. Slow, fast, g funk, 90s Westcoast. To modern woo styles. With lyrics that makes great sense makes him a great story teller as well. I try to think of who you can compare him with in American hip-hop? I can't think of just one because he can do everyone and anyone's styles. He's one of a kind. Maybe a Kendrick Lamarr. But Kendrick is overrated in my opinion. Because he wins all these awards all the time but I don't have 1 song saved by him in my Playlist. You can say he's too mainstream or you would have to take a class of how to analyze his lyrics and what is he trying to say. Takes you weeks to realize what he's saying and by that time songs played out already by Kendrick. Anyway lol my point is Lamarr is great to other rappers that understand the difficulty of how he breaks down songs. But not ti mainstream listeners that has no time for riddles lol. Compared to Shanti Dope. His story telling makes you think or say "oh yeah! Hmm that makes sense, thats DOPE!" he's definitely the GOAT 🐐 in my opinion. And "Flow G" is right behind him always evolving and keeps them ahead of the trend
