The way Wen Ning mourned at his beloved one really hits me hard.. I can feel how Wei Ying and Wen Ning miss all of them.. Wei Ying shed tears really touched my heart.. All of the Wens clan can finally rest in peace since they can meet with Ah Yuan, Wen Ning and Wei Ying before they left the world..
I absolutely love this scene. Especially when the Wen's bows towards Wei Ying for helping them when they where alive but ALSO to Lan Zhan for raising A Yuan. The animation for this is amazing - I only wish they had included this in the live action.

Reason that WY shed tears was because he felt sorry for not being able to protect all of them (I think he thought baby ayuan also died) and yet the wen clan still helped him when he already prepared to die in this battle.

When Wei Ying remembers the wens that saved him as the last act before they were able to move on. Their last act of repaying Wei Ying for keeping them alive all those years ago as Wei Ying was not only a hero but a virtuous person who sought right and wrong and kindness than violence and cruelty.
It hurts even more that Wei Ying had to sacrifice more than anyone. Following the dark path wasn't by choice.
1:28 really one highlight on how precious Jingyi is. Surrounded by people that fear the Yiling Patriarch yet not letting that influence his judgement and loyalty

It always saddens me when I thought about the Wen clan. Most are evil but the family branch of Wen Ning and SiZhui were the true victims of war. Their family was branded traitors because they won’t do anything against their consciences or morals because they were healers. Outsiders won’t accept them because they’re part of the evil Wen clan. Everything belong to Wen must be eliminated. SiZhui was probably the only living survivor left in the whole Wen Clan. Wen Ning doesn’t count, he’s a living corpse.
When seeing grandma’s corpse recognizes SiZhui and trying to give Sizhui his favorite doll to him again made me cry again. I think the Wen family corpses woke up because of that doll. It’s grandma’s way trying to protect Sizhui.
I am living my life thanks to those titles

I will say it a million times! I love movies, but animation can bring life to books in a way movies never can , because movies have a budget and limit to what they can do , but animation has no limits because someone is able to draw out the visions of books such as this one, which is very necessary to understanding all that is going on in the book that the author intends for you to imagine when you read it!!! I love this!
this!! and if you’re referring to live-action movies, real actors can’t do everything animation can and most times hand-drawn animation can make things look smoother and better as opposed to if a real person did the same thing

I was not expecting to cry but when the grandma showed him the toy I felt a knot in my throat and when Wen Ning looked around asking if it was them and when they finally rested I couldn't help but break down, and here I thought I was ready for this.
The animation did the kind of justice to the novel, the fans wanted.

He meant WWX and LZ sacrificing themselves to save others are what truly righteous cultivators should do. He knows he can't change LZ's mind. He's proud of them although it breaks his heart that LZ may not survive.

The cultivation world branded the wen as monsters and just masaccred them all. For me it just so fucking sad man, not only the people that wei wuxian tried to save but others as well. Not only servants, normal people and god knows how many kids and babies where killed but also soldiers, wen cultivators. Wen zhuliu for example wasn't a bad person, but he was an extremely good soldier, loyal to the person he owns even if that person is fucking evil. How many of those soldiers where acting out of fear or out of pure loyalty, sure some of them might be arrogant, but to decimate a whole sect. And the people that tried to have peace, to try other way, to protect the innocent and do judge only to those who actually deserve it are the ones to suffered the most.

@@angelgon06 yes and no. Wen Ning killed JZX but only in defense of Wei Ying because JZX lunged at WY after a clear warning in the middle of an ambush meant to kill him. And JYL was killed by the brother of the man that shot WY during the Pledge Ceremony, he was trying to kill WY in revenge for his stupid brother and JYL pushed WY out of the way and died. Even though there were several people that clearly saw what actually happened that still started screaming about how WY killed her.

@@angelgon06 JZX was the husband of Wei Ying's former shijie. JZX died because he lunged at someone that had already warning him to stay away from him, because he ignored Wei Ying's words, Ah Ning saw him aa an immediate threat and killed him. it was an accident.
