Ii'm so happy you're joining my youtube family💖🤗Thank you very much! I don't want to cover up mistakes because I want anyone who recreates the diys to hopefully do better than I did 😁. Have a wonderful weekend!!
You earned a new subscriber just because you're so honest with your mistakes and I love your ideas. Crafting should be fun and it's not perfect, we all mess up. Isn't that the joy of creating? Your tutorials are perfect with the precise explanations, too. Keep them coming!
These came out so pretty. To keep from bubbling, use plastic wrap and fingers to smooth out your paper as you put it on and work in small sections at a time. Hope it helps.
I figured out if you mist the surface with a light spray of clear matte acrylic before putting mod podge on top, it prevents it from bubbling. Yeah I learned the hard way too. On a gorgeous chest of drawers I just finished perfectly and was doing the top coat no less lol!
I didn't go through the comments to see if someone else already said this but if you apply the Mod Podge to the book, then dampen your paper with water using a spray bottle, you shouldn't ger those wrinkles. Also, put plastic wrap over top of it while you're smoothing it out. Beautiful DIY'S though! I love how each of them turned out!!
Beautifully done! The crimping of the sign at the bottom of the jug is from the curve of the item...making some strategic small slits along the bottom of the sign will allow the sign material to ease around the curve of the jug. Hope that helps! ❤️
Great diys. Love the idea of using dollar tree pictures to put on jars and other surfaces. Tip: if you don't want a straight line when decopauging a print onto surfaces, wet the edges with water and use a brush to tear the ends off. Also, to get the bubbles out when using pod podge, place a piece of plastic wrap over the print to smooth out the bubbles.
Hi Cindy!! Thank you very much💖 Great idea. I really appreciate the awesome tips🤗 I love learning new ways of doing things. I hope high enjoy your day!!
Coffee With My Sunshine I love to decopauge and always pick up pretty napkins and tissue paper to use for projects. I used to get bubbles all the time till I saw someone mention the plastic wrap to tip. Love your diy's.
We’ve all done it...cut something a little too short. Here’s an idea in your case. If you have some burlap ribbon, or lace or regular ribbon, for that matter, use it to finish off those edges. If it doesn’t matter, as in no one will see it when you display it, then it’s great. I think burlap is such a good material for covering books. A whole lot better than paper, like book jackets...not durable at all. It would be great for kids school books. So many schools don’t even use books anymore, though, do they? 🤷♀️ I really like these projects. 😊
Hi Sharon! That's a really good idea. I didn't even think of that. Thank you so much for the tip! You're right, burlap is really fun to work with. And durable, like you said. No, my son's school seems to be fading out books. They're using computers a lot more. Kind of sad. My son even said it's too much screen time. I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks so much💖
Love these ideas. All of them. I’m a pianist and musician have decoupaged books with pages from old yellowed music book pages. Also use them in many crafts. Great book display ideas. Books at my age are precious and love having them as decor. Ty for more great ideas
I actually like the fact that you add in your mistakes cuz some people make their videos out to be like it's absolutely perfect knowingly that they're not so you are really authentic with your videos all of that don't change it you did a beautiful job
Not sure if anyone posted this already, but just a tip: if you cut off the fabric or paper at an angle before you fold, you won't have those thick seams/fold at the corner when you fold the rest of your flaps in. 👍😊😉 Hope that helps. TFS!
Never thought of doing that with my glass jug..great idea. Now hoping I can find the grateful sign at DT🤞🏼 the end results of all them together looks amazing. LOVE IT!
Hi Ivy🤗 Yay! I love to hear when others are going to make the diys💕 I wish I could see them😁. Have fun with it!! I hope you can find the frames at Dollar Tree. Have a great weekend🌞
Casey!!!!!!!!!! I’m sorry, let me address you appropriately! Hello there DIY 👑!! I love each of these SO MUCH!! Excellent job!! So I have a few books that I’ve wrapped in burlap but the contrast of the two you put together are PERFECT!! I think I’m gonna have to do that! TFS beautiful!!😍🌸🌷
Hey friend! Not sure how I missed your comment💖 You're too sweet!! Thank you😁🤗 I'm still trying to find a lampshade that I can wrap in burlap like the one you did 😍.
The Modge Podge will bubble up but disappear after it’s dry. If you use as an adhesive you just use as you do the spray adhesive by using a card to gently rub the picture down.
👍🤗 Thank you very much for the tips using Mod Podge! I need all the help I can get 😁. I've only used it a few times and really appreciate the help💖 Thanks for watching!
You It’s really easy to use. I learned by reading up on how to decoupage on Pinterest. It’s one of the easiest hobbies to learn. TIP: don’t try to be to neat. Like napkins, wet them in the crease and pull gently. Tear the paper and glue them down on vases. Have fun and enjoy yourself.
Beautiful Book New Cycle ❣ You gave me an idea. Recently diagnosed with cancer, I'm always making something from nothing. Redecorating I can make those books and insert my family pictures. They'll just think there decorative books. But what they will find is our pictures. Thank you for sharing

Rachel Hawk, I couldn't agree with you more. When I watched the tutorial I said to my hubby "We're going to Goodwill today." He looked at me and said "You're watching diy's again aren't you?" Lol. I so want to do the burlap & a music sheet book. Hopefully my Goodwill has some unique bottle. I could kick myself in the butt because my son had an awesome bottle I could have used......

That's what you do when you place the dry paper on the mod podge but after it is glued and you use mod podge as a sealer it wrinkles a little.
