Your beautiful baby girl certainly lives up to her name. Throughout the 27 minutes of this video,, she soundly slept through Sarah's body movements, arm waving and sibling interruptions, along with so much talking and laughter (sometimes very loudly). You would think she has had practice in sleeping in a busy household. :-) Love your family and your videos. Happy Thanksgiving.

I get it. When we had our daughter, I was convinced I was having a boy, so we picked Gabriel Alexander...then at 28weeks, we found out it was a girl. We were having awful trouble coming up with a name, until the day she ended up arriving (an emergency c-section when a routine doctors appointment showed I had pre-eclampsia) I just said well we like Gabriel Alexander so much, let's just change it up a little for a girl. Our daughter is named Gabriella Alexandria.
I wanted to honor my mother in law, so we named our daughter Eva Christina and she is nothing like grandmother, but I still love the name.
I find it so fascinating that in the US you find a name right away for the baby after its born, I am from Iceland and here we have 1-3 months to wait to name them, then they are baptized and given a name. It is very hard for parents to not accidentally spill out the babies name until then.
But some name their babies sooner and not all baptize, some hold a naming ''party'' with friends and family.
Peace is also a name in Iceland, here it is Friður (you could pronounce it like Frithur in english), it is a girls name here.
She has a beautiful name. My pastor says, when you don't know what to pray for, pray for peace xx

I laughed when Solo started naming the Duggar kids,19 kids and all starting with the letter ,J. Seth really transitioned well with baby Peace now being the youngest.He is definitely in between all the girls

I had to laugh when you said "overused names!" I read the 'Thorn Birds' when I was carrying my daughter and fell in love with the name "Megan." I loved the character's strength and the name stuck in my head. My "Meghan" was born and it suits her perfectly. Problem is, a LOT of people read the book too! My daughter was in marching band that had eleven flute players... FIVE named Megan!! She says she'll be in a nursing home and when they say "Megan" a dozen seniors will answer.

We named our 1st baby Mallory and it took me so long to become used to it even though I chose the name! Names are so odd. I love her name now but it took me ages to see that it belonged to my baby! Peace is darling!

Love this its hard naming multiple children. My grandmother had 15 and two of her sons are named Lee. She never called the oldest one by his first name so she said she forgot his name 😃. I get a kick out of it every time its brought up.

In my family there was Marvin (dad), Marjorie (mom), Mardee (brother), Mary (myself), and Mark (another brother) all started with "Mar" . If any mail came with just the initial and last name it was a free for all, not really, dad opened to see who it was for.

My husband and I picked out our daughter's name when we were dating. Sixteen years after we married, she was finally born and we were thrilled beyond words to be able to use that name.
We had our girl name picked too but 3 boys later I gave my girl name to our girl dog!

Loved the backstory of Peace’s name. You and Solo are so blessed with 11 children. I know it’s a lot of work; however, the blessings and love are boundless! It’s evident when you are approachable by “the littles” even while you’re videoing. As you told the story, I was very aware of your beautifully full head of hair (as I sit here with my much reduced mane at age 72). Be thankful for it, Sarah. As I was loving your hair, Seth appeared! He looks like a boy now with his recent haircut and gone is the baby look. ‘Til next time…❤️

I had triplets and we did not know the genders. They were born early and it took us 3 days to discover their names. It was at 1 in the morning and it was like that too with us! We finally settled on some names that fit their personalities. Love the name Peace and the meaning behind it! Happy Thanksgiving! I love the boys haircuts!!

@@cristiana9350 we ended up going with all J names. What’s funny is that there was a set of triplets in the same NICU room a month before, the same BGB and also had J names.
One triplet was very active so we went with our favorite footballer. One was very relaxed and calm, so his name was somewhat old fashioned/lyrical. My daughter was very dainty and her first name went with the J theme however since it’s more unisex we choose a very girly middle name.
That litte girl is such a sweetheart and Peace is so perfect for her. In West Africa Peace as a name is very common, so I love the name Peace and trust me, she's going to live up to her name, it already shows. Love your family and your children are so lovely and well behaved.

Names definitely have meaning. We named our oldest son Timothy Josiah and he is every bit a young man wanting to do great things for God. He is 10yo and has told me since he was 5yo that he wants to be a preacher. Same with another son David Edward - he is the smallest of our bunch in since (middle child) with the heart of young David when he went against Goliath.
As a woman w the 1st name Bambi, that is not very common in the US, I appreciate this video and hearing your thought process,,,

I have and elderly friend named Raema, she's early 80s a lovely lady. She was a pastor for many yrs but also was a nurse in Napal where she lived for many yrs. I had never heard the name Raema until I met her thru church.

I thought the name was unusual at first. But then...she truly sends peaceful vibes even through video, that peaceful presence comes across.
It took us 2 weeks to come up with a name for our youngest son ! I was surprised they let us leave the hospital. You did a great job naming her. ❤️

My SIL left the hospital as Baby Boy ____,- finally his mother and dad decided to name him Dad's name Junior, had to go to court in front of a judge just like if they had adopted him. Guess in Ohio you should make a decision before you leave the 🏥 hospital!l
We get 6 weeks here in UK to decide on a name, doubt many wait that long though, I named my 2 boys before I left the hospital, but I could have changed my mind I guess !!

I absolutely love her name! It’s beautiful. We used different initials for first names for all of our kids. We have Samuel Tucker (his name was going to be Tucker, but I prayed for him for so long and God told me his name would be Samuel), Ronan Patrick, Aurora (Rory) Evelyn, and Everett George. All of them were not in the top 100 names when we picked them, but Samuel became more popular again after we named him. Aurora has become more popular in the last few years, too. Ronan and Rory are twins, but we didn’t initially want them to have names that were too matchy. I do love being able to use their first initials to label all of their things!

Sarah, I was born in 1957 and my mother had never heard the name Stephanie. She got it from a book of baby names. The linguistic origin is from the Greek name Stephanos, and I've read different meanings. Crown of laurels, crowned one, are a couple. In the early 80s, I worked as an intern at a large department store in a large mall...I would hear my name being called as I was walking to the food court and would look around to see a young mother chasing a toddler...lol. There are several different spellings, but mine is the traditional, original spelling.

My niece is having her 3rd child and I pray her and her husband will have more after this one. I told her she will not regret it,especially when she is older. My niece has no morning or evening sickness she is very fit runs 5 miles a day and eats correctly. I told her about your channel in hope that this will help.You and Solo do a great job with the kids. Names are hard, even when you know the gender. I totally get this video. I love her name and how it already defines her. Our "rules" are we alternate the first name beginning with a B or K. My husband is Brandon and I'm Kristina. But man the same initial thing is an issue. You should see the confusion with the monogrammed Christmas stockings around here 🤦🏾♀️🤣!! We have 8 and the last 3 were hard to name. God's blessings to you all. Love watching your channel.
I get you! I have 6 girls. Our first 2 happened to have 3 syllables, they both ended with an "ah" sound, and they both had "boyish" nicknames. I was a huge tom boy growing up. So girl 3 came along and we went with it. The 4 and 5 and we stuck to it. Baby 7 was girl number 6 and we struggled SO hard on whether to stick with our previous criteria. We did but it was tough to come up with a 6th girl with 3 syllables, ending in "ah", boyish nickname, and a different first letter then previously used. She has the middle name PRAISE that my 7 year old suggested.

My childhood bestfriend and her sister were named Magenta and Cinnamon, and those were just their names to everyone it didn’t seem odd! People really do grow into their name :)

My cousin's name is Zuri! He's a boy though. When he was born (19 years ago) I thought it was so unique but it's definitely popping up a little more! We have three - Fife, Augustine & Briar with the intent of having as many kids as God will allow. I feel like by the time I'm 17 years out from having kids like you guys, my list won't be as good as I thought it was!

My Mom found my name when she was growing up in the 40s in Ohio Valley. She said when she married she wanted to name her girl "Dreama". It's different. Dreama Kay. My siblings are... David Lee Jr, Daniel Paul, Mark Anthony and Sherry Lynn. I named my daughter Terah Kay. It's the form of Tara. I took the first 3 letters from her Dad's name. My sister found Terah in the Bible. I should have known that. Lol. My Dad was a Preacher and a Railroad Conductor. 44yrs. My Mom played the organ and led the choir in church. They were married for 60 years. I miss them both so much.

Although then she'd have three names after you add the Swahili name and she'd be the only one with three names... I'm beginning to see how difficult the naming process is for you!

I love names like Grace, Joy, Hope. I like the name Rini Irene for short which is Peace in Greek. Technically it’s pronounced Irini (Irene) I think it’s Amani in Swahili. I have a tendency of throwing out nicknames to all of my kids I would probably be calling her Peacey! Fun fact: you know how in English we have girl names for April Mae and June? Well in Greek we have a Sunday and a Friday! Kiriaki (Kiki), Paraskevy (Evy)
