Prom time are when teens and moms are out shopping for the perfect dress and often times it could set them back hundreds, even thousands of dollars. But some teens go straight to the internet and find websites offering gorgeous dresses at huge sav... #InsideEdition
wow, well sorry that not everyone can afford a fucking designer dress, but do you really have to diss on the "crappy" ones like they're not even bad they're just made to fit their price
+Sophia Diblasio but the point is, they're bashing on the "crappy" ones being cheap and all and even crying about it, imagine not having the money to buy a designer dress, then having this video crapping on your dress, obviously people can buy nice dresses, and that's on them. But no one should bash on dresses that are more affordable.
emily lee thank you somebody understand not everyone has hundreds of dollars laying around for one dress....FYI who would want to Wear a dress of glass
Hey what you gotta do is get a really crappy dress and pretend you thought it was gonna be prettier then video tape yourself crying over this ugly dress, send the video to Sherri hill then they will send you a bunch of dresses! And boom! Free dress
BlueMoonEnder omg XD
+ultraheda ; I think the bigger issue with the cheaper online one is that they steal the photos from legit companies (which is illegal), and the fact that you aren't seeing what you're getting. If you see a picture of a beautiful, green dress and you're sent a frumpy, ill-fitting yellow dress, you'd probably get pissed. Yes, they're made to fit the price but it's like blindly buying something and *hoping* you get what you order.
What a sellout. This isn't news. Some people don't have rich parents to buy them 500$ plus clothing that you will wear twice
Good Game exactly, it's just throwing money into the bin
okay kate
Twice?
+LaurenLoves Life
Your actually telling me that you would wear a 500$ dress underneath a 50$ robe that the entire graduating class (minus 2) is wearing? Really?!
+LaurenLoves Life
I've heard some private schools actually have the students wear gowns and suits for graduation...but then if you go to a private school, your family probably could afford you a ridiculously price dress...
Though I doubt they would want to wear the SAME dress.
And what about the junior prom goings?
I just don't see the justification of buying a 500$ prom dress unless your family is very well off, but I came from a middle class family and this life style is probably waaaaay over my head. lol
The sad thing is that “cheap” dress was probably made by a sweatshop worker, likely the same age as those girls in the video, earning 3 cents/day.
no, the expensive dresses came from third world countries! They have shops in the third world.
Exactly! So whomever charged $99 for the awful replica dress pocketed most of that money.
@@eduardochavacano and? Whether it’s $100 or $500, it’s not worth it. But what OP was likely trying to say is that the $100 dress wasn’t even worth its price tag because it wasn’t a well made or ethically made $100 dress. Someone pocketed the profits.
Why bother working for 3 cents?
But still you cant use that as an excuse for scamming.
I hate how they're trying to make girls feel bad that cant afford the expensive name brand dresses. So stupid!
nah they dont make me feel bad i just give it a little of my own touch and then the dress is perfect and also because my parents dont have enough money so i ask my grandma to help me touch it a bit up in my own kinda way
I thought their example between the $450 short sparkly grey dress and the sparkly black dress was weird. The black dress was cute for a budget dress. That seafoam colored one with lace was a hideous mess though.
Exactly! Only a very moronic society will not see this as Brain washing and really Crude ad for a very classy brand. I guess it wasnt classy at all, Cherry Hill?
@Strawberry Strawberry "it'll last longer" dude how many times do you expect to go to prom?

+Merissa Anderson I liked it better than the real one.
I get that cheap knockoffs is a contentious topic but honestly, most average teens don't have the luxury of dishing out 500 bucks and above for a prom dress that they will only wear once. This video is just shaming those people who choose to buy things for a cheaper price. Word of advice to teens, stick to your budget and don't splurge on that ONE prom dress that will only last you a couple of hours. There will be more dances to attend, don't fret. A lady is still a lady in her $15 dress if she has manners and class.
fr... their making such a big deal out of it too😒
Yes I agree but prom is somewhat like a ritual to teens kinda like a quince
I never spent over $100 dollars on a prom dress and I wouldn’t have spent close to that much if my grandma had been determined to take me shopping for them and made me only try on ones around that price range (my grandma is deluded sometimes I love her to death and she means well but dear lord I hate spending money I’m not wealthy)
My mom spent less than $500 on her wedding dress and she found that to be too much so I come from a family who doesn’t agree with spending too much money on one damn day
Honestly what mattered most to me is I could move and felt comfortable and I had wonderful prom dates both times...first time better than the second because we both ended up crying during my second prom for different reasons (we weren’t a couple btw, just close friends who were having other life problems hit us like a brick to the face on prom night and we both left early to drink milkshakes and avoid obnoxious people who were at our prom)
A lady can still be a lady in jeans and a sweatshirt if she has proper manners. Preach 🙌

Why would you pay a website doing illegal stuff just so they can continue breaking the law?

When I was in high school I bought my dresses the year before when prom season ended and all the dresses went on clearance.

I got my prom dress at Goodwill for $5.00. A beautiful long velvet gown. Wore it for years after that. My wedding dress was like $60, got it at a nice local seamstress' shop.
I buy my suits from goodwill and I can say that it's a steal too! Goodwill has so much good vintage stuff (and in natural materials like wool and velvet!) compared to stores like Macy's and H&M
It is one night in high school, why would one pay over 100 bucks for a dress for one night in HIGH SCHOOL? Its no like your getting married to the love of your life, prom is a high school dance.
There is only prom 2 times in highschool though
@@cherrybunnyz2516 How many people actually rewear the same dress to both proms though? So that's two dresses that you're going to wear for one night each. It is a waste no matter how you slice it.

Maybe, but I doubt they feel nice. What's the point in wearing something that looks good if it doesn't feel good?
I can't afford that kind of thing. $450 dollars is insane to me. So if I can find a dress for $50-$120 at Kohl's or Macy's, that's what I'm getting. $450 for a tule mini skirt strapped to some glass shards isn't worth it.
Ashton Michael for proms and sweet sixteens guardians would spend anything to get their girl a big high quality gown
Grill_ Gamer_24 Not necessarily. A lot of people can’t afford dresses like that and if the parent has to decide between putting food on the table and a dress, most parents would rather feed their children then glam them up for a night. Besides, the outfit isn’t what makes the night, the experience you have is.
trueeeee
i can spend maximum 100 dollars on a dress
i ain't getting married
Impressed Lil Pump Eh. My parents couldn't afford to take me anywhere or get me anything but I did get 40$! I was happy about that for my sweet 16!
Truuuuu
Why aren’t they giving actual good advice? Buy your prom dress the year before on clearance. I got mine, a super nice brand name dress, for $50.
For junior prom, I spent a total of $10 at Goodwill. No regrets. Both dresses were gorgeous. If you don’t have the finances, you’re not forced to wear a bad gown like they’re suggesting. Splurging $700 on one night you’ll barely remember is idiotic.
I went and took my butt down to Macy’s and got mine for a great deal! Yes it wasn’t what I had originally wanted, but when you live in a small town you make deal and tbh I think I looked pretty good compared to some who spent hundreds to go out of town to get theirs at a boutique. Price can’t overshadow gratitude and a genuine smile:)
it is stupid to pay for the brand.
All I got from this video was an insult to people who cant afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a dress.
Agreed.
so true
monster9392 There's a place where you can buy a dress for less money. The best part is that you can see what you're really buying. It's called a thrift store.
Avalasia Love
Thrift stores usually ain't got anything pretty
thatasiangirl 0_0 True, but at least you know what you're really getting. I'd rather look for a dress at a secondhand shop than risk spending money on something I didn't want.
That blue and white lace dress was cute! Honestly, these people are getting paid too much to say this stuff. A dress is not worth $400. Just go to Walmart and that dress will be perfect for a one night dance.
Prom is usually something that you only get to do once in your entire lifetime... Do you really want to be wearing a dress from Walmart? I mean, do what you want of course, but if it was me I'd want a dress that I really loved and felt special in. A 20 dollar dress that was cheaply made and stock designed? No thanks.
As someone who went to prom in an $80 dress, I hated Prom. My favorite part was going out to eat and hanging with my friends right before. The actual dancing at Prom was for couples grinding against each other, it was awkward, it was loud. It was super expensive and a complete waste of $100+ spent on it. It was on a riverboat, too, to give some context. Still awful. Unless you have a date that you like dirty dancing with (that's your choice and I don't judge you), there's no reason to want to go. My sister, instead of going to prom, bought dresses from Goodwill, went out to eat with her friends, played tennis IN those dresses, and then went exploring around the town doing other fun activities. Make "Prom Night" one you actually will care about and remember happily.
+Lauren McAtee in the end it's a bunch of kids at a dance. An expensive dress isn't necessary, in the end it's just important to have fun with your friends
+Natalie Neighh tell that to someone getting married

I went to the mall with a friend to look for our dresses, we hadn't been out looking yet. First store we walked into (I think JC Penney) we walked past the prom dresses and said we'll check em later... But my eye was caught by this red dress that stuck out because it wasn't put back correctly. I looked all over for where it might have come from and couldn't find any like it. I said heck it, and tried it on AND IT FIT!! I'm not really into shopping, so I was relieved to find a dress I liked that fit me, so quickly. It was on sale for $200 something (or maybe cheaper, I can't remember). I hid it on some rack and after the mall went to my dad and said "I found the dress and it's on sale!" My parents and I went that night and bought it. Even though it was a bit out of budget, my dad was happy to get it for me. After an alteration to make it shorter and used that fabric to make braided straps, I had a beautiful, simple (with a dash of bling) prom dress that I still own and love. I've had it for 5 years and haven't worn it since... I wish there were more reasons to wear a dress like that. :/
Can always make up a reason to put it on, treat yourself.
People need to calm down about prom! I had mine (Australian ahaa) and bought my dress for $25 at a charity shop and absolutely slayyyedd

The same goes for schoolies. I wouldn't want to go to that whatsoever. But that's probably a lot of people die during schoolies due to car accidents, alcohol poisoning, drug overdoses etc.

Me too. I can't afford $500 for a dress. However, the main point of the video is that the websites steal photos from established brands and sell products that don't look like on the pictures. They kind of look like the picture product but at the same time considerably different.
Captain Creep lol same
Some women and families can't afford hundreds or thousands of dollars for a prom dress and all of the accessories! So putting down alternative options and calling them "cheap and tacky" is a bit harsh. Sure it won't look like a well crafted designer dress, and it's awful the pictures can be misleading (and I can see how that'd be disappointing or upsetting), but they're still getting an option that's affordable for their budget.
is it bad that from afar the black dress at 1:20 looks better to me?
snuffdigital I know right and she better be lucky they did something to help her out because not everyone has someone to do this for them she lucky
Preach sister, I couldn't even afford to buy a prom dress for my 12th grade prom. I almost didnt go, but thank God I had a teacher that actually cared. She went and got all these prom dresses from people who wanted to donate them and brought them to the school, so the girls that couldn't afford to buy a dress, could pick one out and wear it to prom. If the dress didn't fit, she had her mom fix it for you. She even got my hair and make up did. If it wasn't for that lady I wouldn't have even thought about going to prom. I thank her so much for that, I wish some schools would do something like that, it would be so worth it.

Anything over $99 for a prom dress is ridiculous. People just don't know how to shop. I got my wedding dress for only $109 at a store and it was all hand made in high Quality.
Curley Cues Did it look good though?
But what you bought is 109... Sooooo does that meen that you bought something ridiculoud
It probably wasn't if it was 109 dollars...and it's unbelievable when you look at it economically. How much were they paid an hour if most dresses take months to make and alter for a perfect fit. Not forgetting that there is also cost for materials.
I could never do that for a wedding dress Ive planned out my gown it's an Organza A-Line with lace and I'm going to have a Tiffanys Diamond tiara with a Tiffanys pearl necklace and a Tiffanys cobble stone band ring.
Where did you get it?
I thought it was funny how at the end they were all cheering then you hear “don’t step on the dress girls!” 😂😂
My high school had a thing called “Cinderella’s closet” where people donated old formal gowns that were available to borrow. This is so students who don’t have well enough income can still get a nice dress for formal occasion (like the annual special ed prom or sport galas at the end of each season).
I wasn’t intending to go to prom (my dad had cancer so I couldn’t afford it) but after a classmate of mine told our principal, he paid for my ticket. My biology teacher and elementary art teacher took me to Cinderella’s closet to pick out a gown, it was black and made of a soft and lightweight fabric.
My aunt did my hair, my mom did my makeup, and all my friends put together money and rented a large van (more comfortable and cheaper than a limo). The night was amazing and I was even voted prom queen! You don’t need to spend a fortune for the night to be fantastic!
I still have my dress since they let me keep it! It was awesome!
Ooh that is so nice! Half my dresses used to be from someone else (I really like them being so different in style). It would be nice to give my young looking dresses to a teen that can't afford them.
Awe, poor rich girls who cry because they received a dress that is not good enough for them... These are the important things in life!
😶
... She cried when she saw the rail of sheri hill
+Sandra Claws I think she might have been crying cause it's so freaking nice of her dance teacher to try to do something like this for her.
The video was about what to avoid when looking for a prom dress. I don't think these girls are rich if they are buying dresses that are on sale. I think you should just look at reviews of the website and it's quality before decided to buy their products. also there is nothing wrong with wanting to look good and wear something that we'll suites you and doesn't look tacky.
Tomokitten c: Very true. :) I was just pointing out that these are first world problems and the title contains the words "Break Teen Hearts"... It doesn't sound like a tragedy to me! But maybe I don't care enough.
Sandra Claws personally I would just be pissed and they did make it seem like some sort of tragedy when really the only tragedy part is not having a dress for prom or homecoming or something and no one really gives one about what you wear half the time so they could just go to a place like ross and buy a formal dress for $30 or less. That's what I did when I needed a plan black dress for concert band and I found it for $17 and the higher class bands that had to order them paid like $30-40
$599 .... get real. They're teenagers. They would never spend that kind of money on a dress if you made them get a job.
My prom dress was $656 dollars but it was a Sherri hill
I go to thrift stores. my dress cost me 50 bucks while the girl who bought it first probably paid $250. I'm real skinny with not a lot of bust, So if it's a little big in the top, my mom just takes it up a little and no one knows.
I wore a suit i already had to prom :P free and way comfier than a dress hahah
i bought my dress for 20 bucks in forever21. was real cute tho. perfect. 10/10 would do again
My prom dress was $600 no joke but it was beautiful
Don’t let this video discourage anyone without a big budget. Sometime you can just buy a quality basic dress and invest majority of the money into hair, makeup, and a good tailor and you’ll be good to go.
My dress only cost 80 bucks and it was handmade by a local woman in our city who was trying to start her own clothing business. The dress was extremely poofy, well made and I still have it (I wear it occasionally despite its been 4 years since high school and my little sister likes to play princess with me) we found her company on offerup. You just gotta look in the right places, even the obscure places.

If you're seriously out here crapping on teenage girls for wearing a cheaper dress, get a life. As long as it is a dress she genuinely likes and feels confident in and it is in good enough shape to last a few hours with no wardrobe malfunctions, price absolutely does not matter
Meanwhile, I thrifted my prom dress. I mean, it’s 7 dollars well-spent and I have never received so many compliments
Last year was my Freshman year of High School.
I went to Macy's with friends to go Homecoming Dress shopping. Everyone was having a tough time deciding on a dress, but then I found a beautiful BodyCon style dress that's seafoam green with sparkles, plus it was insanely comfortable! I love it so much and it was only $30.00! My dad was happy when I came back and I handed $70.00 to him. My mom told him to me to give me $100.00 as it was a special occasion, but I'm glad I didn't use even half of it as it's the best dress I could of ever found there! A few weeks after Homecoming, I found a really pretty Ocean Blue Prom dress that's the higher-in-the-front style dress at a high end Goodwill for $7.00. I will wear it to prom and be fabulous! It's crazy that I can actually go to Prom next year! Together thrifty girls stand!

My high school graduation dress, a ankle-lenth, one-shoulder gown in a solid colour, cost exactly $80. Mother and I bought the material and a seamstress made it. Prom dresses don't need to be expensive.
Okay...but they're high school students, not millionaire popstars
So maybe get a knockoff - better yet, shop secondhand! You know for sure what you're getting and can even try before you buy for best fit. Alter as needed or put some of the money you saved on the dress towards getting professional alterations! The fit is 80% of the outfit, I swear. Add to that that secondhand is an ecologically sound decision as well as an excellent opportunity for a roadtrip to the nearest metropolis, and you've got yourself a banger of an idea

Yeah. I feel like it was almost an add for the company.
Sadly, we live for drama lol xD
Tbh I think British stuff is a lot worse
_brey_ no mate we're not as bad as the us i dont think anyone can take that title
*cringey
We don't even have prom here in my country so am I the only one thinking how INSANE it is for a teen to have a dress for 450 dollars for just one night???? sorrry but I'd rather wear something cheaper, doesn't have to be perfect.
Exactly
Facts
usedtobemyself I mean it's not just one night, you could use it for formal parties or save it for your wedding, or pass it down to a sister or something. Plus the night is suppose to be special and you want to look your best.
My prom dress was $49 on a clearance rack, and I think I still looked pretty good.
You can just rent a dress I mean that would be cheaper
Yeah, but sorry I don't have thousands of dollar just for a single dress.
So cheap and tacky is my only option
Why some of them like crying over a dress for prom lol 🤦 I'd rather be at my house sleeping if this ever happened to me
1:14 can your head even do that?
Jennifer Breuer OMG SHE IS SATEN
I tried and my neck hurts-
nope
Snxwy. E 😂😂💀
I can only make it touch my shoulder 😂
My dress may not be of the top quality or really what I ordered, but you know what?? I had fun and guess what? I still have money for college. I am not paying hundreds of dollars for a dress that I will only wear for a day for a night that is no different than homecoming with more food. Sometimes people can only afford the low end stuff.
(Edit: Yes I do know this video is talking strictly about false advertisement, but my comment still stands.)
Jaimee Rudick that's not what it's about, it's false advertising!
Jaimee Rudick
***** At this point yes. Every little bit helps, and it pays for the books.
Jaimee Rudick that is correct. Thank u for thinking. xxxxxx
Jaimee Rudick Here at Portugal there is a store that has dresses that could be for prom between 70 to 100 euros. And the material is just great. Thats were Im going to buy mine :)
No prom for the class of 2020 I fell bad and sorry for you guys
that’s so sweet, i’m glad she got to have the perfect dress for her party!
I think this video is pretty ignorant not everyone has $500 to spend on a dress. They should've given options for less expensive dresses maybe from different stores.
Jennii_oo I got mine for only $100. You just need to know where to look
"Don't step on her dress girls" BOI I WILL STEP ON THAT CRUSTY DUSTY MUSTY DRESS IF I WANT TO
OH MY GODDDDD
I wanna be in slowtown.
Sade Olsen i do to XD
xX.BlurryFace.Xx #savage xD lol idk what I'm saying but okay lol k bye

My mom made my prom dress. I helped her with it. Picked out the fabric together. We just didn't have money. It was a simple shift dress, we put the zipper in wrong at first LOL.
She's teaching my daughter to sew now. She is 9. We did some sewing altogether the other day. I hope that my mom is around to help us make my daughter's prom dresses.
I was so embarrassed at the time. Now I know I was wearing special couture. Priceless in fact
What difference does it make if it's a "knock off?" Instead of worrying about labels, worry about looking pretty 🤷
You should expect to get what you pay for. It’s unlawful to scam people out of their money. Plus, the guy pointed out that the plastic studs and the cheap fabric would also feel uncomfortable. Don’t just think about how the dress looks, think about how it feels.
It's fine if you want to spend a lot of money on a dress, but it should also be fine to spend money on cheaper knock-offs. Some dont have hundreds off dollars to buy a dress for just one night.
I am lower middle class and I hated prom so much I never attended out of rebellion against American norms +Fabluewho
Eline S lol my friend had to win a boxing fight to get a hundred bucks to buy a decent suit for his prom date and yes she told him she will go with him
Eline S true. but then you're better off buying a dress from forever 21 for 15$. those examples of knock off dresses were not cheap, they were 100$ each and the quality looked much worse than forever 21 so it isn't only a knock off, it's an expensive knockoff.
Eline S well some people steal photos

I love how theyre quick to give the rich girl WHO CAN ACTUALLY AFFORD all those expensive dresses for free just bc she bought one slightly worse in quality knock off dress. What about all the struggling for money teens who HAVE to buy the cheaper ones?
Ilovepink 888 did they ever say she was rich? Is it because she's white?
@@haveringdokkan9344 noo nothing like that. I'm guessing she's rich or at least her family is, because shes part of a dance group that probably isn't cheap.
Ilovepink 888 that is so rude and uncalled for. You have no idea who she is and you’re out shaming her. That is so disrespectful!
Well I agree but I'm in catholic school that's not free and my family isn't rich. We aren't poor either. But no just no.
Girl please, she didn’t plan it, it was a surprise for her. I’m not rich or anything like that, but you don’t see me complaining
I bought mine from forever 21 for about $30 and everyone thought I got it from a designer. Money doesn’t make you look better, its how you present yourself!
some of those chinese remakes be hittin, my dress was one and it was gorgeous irl and looked like the pic
I made my dress for less than $10 using Walmart fabric and nobody was any the wiser
Go you!! I wanna see pictures of it!!
I wanna see pictures!!
So clever I want to see it! :D
I’m sure it’s beautiful!
Holly Collins
Good for you! :D
"When Brianna tried it on it looked worst"
God damn Lisa Guerrero don't need to be that harsh...
Shes telling the truth
@@corny7743 truth hurts man 😞
@@corny7743 Well yeah, but kindness is also important. You can be honest, but constructive.
It's the dress not brianna lol

Awe she looks so pretty, I liked the purple one on her too
That was so sweet of the dress company to send her a beautiful replacement. It's double duty cause they also got to show, on a beautiful model, the difference in craftsmanship
I truly don't understand why girls spend this much for 1 prom day .-.
ikr! Im probably never going to go to prom
Fen
I would buy one for half the price of 100
Soon you will learn.
Prom is the end of the year party for seniors saying goodbye to highschool.
It's important to party
At the last year of highschool
fashun
SoBakii yh but its an enormous waste of money
I literally spent 30 dollars on my prom dress, and I looked great. Why would you spend so much on a frickin' dress?
Lucky in Canada they don't have prom so you have to wait till grads Dance
In Canada, we do have prom.
Because some women can wear a bin bag and look great, and others cant, so they kid themselves into thinking its about the label. Take it from men, its all about what you were born with. Chin up :)
I spent 10$ on a very pretty lace dress for my military ball. I don't know how people can spend so much money on a dress
right??? both my prom dresses came from goodwill. I spent like ten bucks on my last dress.
It was so wholesome seeing her tears of joy
it’s actually really sad, there’s girls out there that can’t afford a prom dress…
What if people couldn't afford any better? of course people would get sucked in. I shop for everything online and never once received a rip off. If you're careful about where you buy it it'll be fine.
a department store during a sale day is a good alternative. You could get a well made dress for 75% off if you know how to work the system. (I've gotten 200 dollar coats for 75 that way)
Cool :)
I got a fake sherri hill dress for my dance. I could definitely afford the real one but it's not worth it for a night. A lot of people said I had the best dress at my dance. It looked classy and beautiful but yes, we did get some of the beading resewn on but that wasn't an issue.
That's what I thought too. Not everyone has money to throw on a dress you'll wear on one night, the "cheap junk" is the only affordable option for a good portion of Americans
Same
"Cheap junk"? I love those! Wtf is wrong with people. I'm all for cheap dresses that still look good XD
Yes, i actually think that the cheap dresses look really nice. (I would wear them)
Same fam
Bruh I found a dress on the Internet for £21 and let me tell you, it was everything I ever wanted, it was so beautiful beyond belief. It came exactly as the picture showed
I remember alot of those dresses. I used to sell them at my first retail job as a sales consultant at Camille La Vie. And let me tell you, seeing those dresses everyday were nothing like those cheap copies you see online. Yes, you'd have to pay a pretty penny to have those for prom, but at least they at least looked better and worth the sale at times. The only things most were worried about was lose beads and stones, broken zippers, and finding the right color and sizes. Along with the occasional worries about two or more girls wearing the same dress. From all the years I've spent working in formal wear retail, when it comes to shopping in that area, always know your specific size and measurements, search for near by stores to see the item for your self or someone you know close by to look for you to know what it's like. And always call the store to know for sure if they have it in store and see if they can hold it for you to come try it on.
The boutiques just want the money lmao 💀 my mom bought a dress off the internet and it was so pretty and looked exactly like the picture.
haha yeah you just gotta make sure its like a trusted website
What website?
Yeah some boutiques just do it for an extreme profit. But as a seamstress, I have to say, making all those dresses from scratch with good quality fabric is not easy and definitely deserves a good amount of money. Thousands of dollars is way too much, but anything between 0-25 dollars would mean that whoever involved it in the making of the garment was extremely underpaid. Just because it’s for cheap doesn’t mean it’s worth it 🤷🏾♀️
Which site?
you know not all people can get the dress that ariana and selena wore
It's an ad
Omg Annabug I love your Miraculous Videos! I am your biggest fan!
If you couldnt tell this news story wasn't actually a news story... It was an ad to sell you a dress by a specific designer.
Annabug I can
Annabug lol
That green and white dress photo! I almost bought that dress! I’m so glad I didn’t buy it and found it in the shops instead 💙
1:30 these guys straight up made so many girls feel bad about themselves 💀💀💀
People are saying "Who would spend 450 for a dress?" and to that I say it's none of your business. If these girls have the money and want to treat themselves for one night, then let them. If you don't want to spend that money, good for you.
except majority of the time its not the girls money its the parents who are begged into spending hundreds of dollars to try amd impress a bunch of people she doesn't talk to and probably never will talk to outside of high school
Rishro29 And if the parents go through with that, that is their deal. A good parent doesn't let their child bully them into buying them stuff. If they wish to go through with all of that, it is still their business, not yours.
+Rishro29 or maybe instead of impressing people she wants to feel good wearing a dress she loves and have fun???
+Rishro29 or maybe instead of impressing people she wants to feel good wearing a dress she loves and have fun???
No one every said "let's implement a price ceiling on prom dresses."
Maybe you could..;
CHECK THE REVIEWS BEFORE YA ORDER, if there is no reviews DO NOT BUY IT. simple
YES YES Sometimes people post fake reviews in order to trick people into buying their product.
YES YES ya
Avalasia Love At least something with 30 reviews.
YES
Then if everyone uses this method no one will buy anything cause it needs someone to buy to have a honest review.
This was not a good take. Instead of calling the dresses “cheap” and “tacky,” why not offer alternative places like Ross, thriftstores, or Burlington instead of pretty much saying the $500+ range is all that will suit for special occasions?
I got a navy blue dress back in the day that was subdued and had lots of other uses in functions. It was a regular cocktail dress and I got years of use from it.
