As far as size, I think this is more accurate than what most think. In this game Spino is longer but he is not more bulky. There is not a lot known about Spino and there is no true way to say just because he is longer also means he should be heavier. But some depictions make Spino so much larger in every way which just does not seem correct for what Spino hunted. Also as far as Rex being OP in this, he would be OP in real life. The most powerful dinos would be Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus. The reason is because all 3 were in a evolutionary arms race and evolved what I call hyper weapons. All of these 3 have attacks that kill in a single blow. Even if the death is a slow bleed out or internal bleeding.

Yea no, besides the fact they’d never meet nor fight over risk of injury, spinosaurus can defend itself against carchardontosaurus and is more well rounded than the T. rex, strong jaws can’t do anything if the only way you can bite it is putting your head and neck in the direct line of fire, or the sail, which will only really result in spinosaurus going more on the offensive than defensive, and considering falling over is fatal for a T. rex you really want to be careful of some with something with strong arms

1-1 Rex wins no contest. Spino isn't meant for brute power contest. Though Rex will get damaged heavily with Spino's claws. And I'm not a fanboy of either. My fav. is the Allosaurus (fragillis/maximus don't care), Mr cool looking lizard.

T-Rex still has the advantage in a fight with its huge jaws capable of delivering a killing blow in one strike, while the Spino would require multiple hits to take out the T-Rex. Being an aquatic animal in shallow waters the Spino wins 100%, on land the T-Rex would win 80% of the time.

Spino in JP/// was confirmed to be a subadult which is why it wasn’t around during the events of The Lost World. JP Spino was able to eventually grow to 60 feet. Bigger than the I-rex.

Yea no, besides the fact they’d never meet nor fight over risk of injury, spinosaurus can defend itself against carchardontosaurus and is more well rounded than the T. rex, strong jaws can’t do anything if the only way you can bite it is putting your head and neck in the direct line of fire, or the sail, which will only really result in spinosaurus going more on the offensive than defensive, and considering falling over is fatal for a T. rex you really want to be careful of some with something with strong arms

1-1 Rex wins no contest. Spino isn't meant for brute power contest. Though Rex will get damaged heavily with Spino's claws. And I'm not a fanboy of either. My fav. is the Allosaurus (fragillis/maximus don't care), Mr cool looking lizard.

In JP 3, the Rex that was killed is a sub adult. Also it ate a lot so I'm guessing it was slow. But as you said "in jp continuity" yeah Spino is supposed to look like a big bad villain so it wins.
