My First Group Ride! BIKELIFE MONTERREY, MEXICO!

- August 16, 2021 - This was my first group ride with the homies in Monterrey, Mexico! It was a dream of mine for a long time to organize a rideout with my guys in the city I live in and have called home for the past 4 years. I let my best friend Kike ride my 2018 CRF450R and I jumped on the 2003 CR250R!
We hit the highway and headed down to la sierra de Cola de Caballo. It had actually been 2 years since I took my CR250R up the mountain. She did so good with the new Lectron Carb! Saving gas and never ran rich even when we went all the way up the mountain. It is definitely a game changer.

Came back to tell you about some mods I found by watching other KX500 biulds. There is this company called Tom Morgan racing engines. And he does all sorts of stuff with the 500 engines. Many other engines though. He ports heads, he can rebuild engines, tune them, big bore them. Micro polish them. But a kid that many say is worth every penny is the heads he makes for them. He installs a little valve in the head that lets out pressure with make it kick like a 125. And when it gets started the valve pops into place and it runs like a 500! I will let you know if I come up with any more info. Take care!
