  • I know some of you really like seeing videos of me working on my bike, and I'm TRYING to do more stuff you guys enjoy (besides Reflex, get over it!)! In this video, I drain my old engine oil, clean my reusable oil filter, and fill the bike back up with oil! I might also pop a wheelie for Wednesday...

    My filter is on the other side and has the dipstick right above it(towards the motor) and the transmission oil thingy is on the kickstarter side but forward if the circular part of the case. This is all on my Honda CRF150RB 2012 but as I've said many times (probably not on CZcams) I am getting a KTM 250xc-f 2016 or a 17 soonish

    So when you took out 2 bolts to drain oil that was just to drain it faster? Because my 2012 Honda has transmission and engine oil. So I have to drain both seperetly.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  Před 7 lety

      To drain the oil from both areas to get it all out.

    ever tried using a small bowl of gas to clean the oil filter? i use the paper style filter but id think youd be able to swish the filter in the gas to flush it out better, idk maybe spaying is better.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  Před 7 lety +1

      I feel like that's sort of like saying you'll get cleaner taking a bath rather than taking a shower. The spray is pressured and can blow any old oil of of the filter. Sloshing it back and forth in a bowl of gas would be getting old oil mixed back into it, rather than sprayed out.

      i guess thats a good point, i dont used them just for the fact i feel better getting rid of all the metal and put a fresh filter in. just me though.

    • @ReturnOfDeeO
      @ReturnOfDeeO  Před rokem

      Ah the number is more nuanced that that! I was 311 when I was 3, same number as my dad. Then when I turned 4 I went 41, 5 went 51. Then 91 was taken so we added a 9 because we had an extra sticker. Thus 991 was born and it just stuck! Thank you for watching and subscribing!

      Injuries are definitely never good! Glad you're going to get back into it, man! I race 30+ B and it's a fun class. Competitive but people don't ride over their heads or anything.
