@@MajesticSoul17 these days you can take it online but it's better to just look up forklift operator certification location so you can learn in person, then you take test and that's it
What's good eastsidetone313 This Monday coming up I will be work at warehouse with a forklift god is good because I came home 8/7/07 16 year later I'm starting a new and better job for my family god bless you and stay safe out here bruh
I never drove a forklift but I had a ton of warehouse experience. I applied for a forklift job I'm kinda sceptical about it but These videos are definitely making me feel more comfortable about operating one now. Thanks man.
@@redmamba4695Absolutely! It’s not as hard as you think. There is a lot of multitasking involved with forklifts because you have to operate the levers as you’re driving. But it’s not bad at all and fun if you’re into that kind of stuff.
I need to learn how to use a forklift my job and your videos have taught me how to in under 20 minutes. Thank you Josh, you're a legend, keep up the great work mate!
Just started a job as a warehouse receiver and found out today that I have to take a forklift evaluation test first thing in the morning. Found your channel tonight and I’m way more confident now. Thanks brotha! You’re making an impact !!
You explained this better than most of all the other professionals I have seen great work man thanks for the knowledge my dude great vid helped me out a lot
I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and I have no experience in using a forklift . I'm going to obtain my license for it but I'm at a disadvantage from the other guys who are already working with forklifts in their jobs. By watching your videos gave me a lot of understanding and insight on using it. Hoping to pass the test and getting that job I'm trying to obtain to survive. Blessings to you and excellent job in explaining the use of a forklift lift, thanks for the boost in my self confidence👊.
That third gas forklift with a "clutch" is like a clutch but called an Inching Pedal. It works like a clutch and a brake combined (if it is connected to the brake pedal too so first its disengages drive then more pressure and it applies brakes) so that you can rev the engine while in gear to make the hydraulics go faster (like lifting the load onto a truck) but bypasses the power to the drive wheels so you can rev the engine to make the loading much faster WITHOUT driving the forklift faster. It disengages drive and engages brake (if it is a dual action) so you can quickly raise the hydraulics to lift a load up without also driving faster. Its safer and easier to keep your fork load low to the ground until you put it on the truck or racking, and this pedal means you don't have to take it out of drive to rev the engine to speed up loading. Without it, you can't rev the engine in forward gear or else you speed up so this makes loading so much easier and faster.
Yup that bad boi helped out a lot when I had to stack, don’t know why people think it’s a useless pedal or just another brake comes to show they aren’t pros
My 5 minute "forklift training" consisted of my teacher telling me that pedal was useless and then lifting a pallet off the ground and setting it down. This comment helped a lot, thank you
I use the third pedal all the time it is great, especially with our lift it does not like running too good in the cold mornings and full turns or tilts instantly stalls her unless you Rev it with the clutch.
On the propane lifts that’s not really a “clutch” they call it a clutch but it has no correspondence to a clutch in a car. It does not engage or disengage there is no transmission like in a car either. You can’t “ride”them or wear them out. They don’t have gears like a car either.Everything is hydraulically driven. The clutch is really just a valve that either cuts hydraulic power or lets it go through. That’s why you can go from revers to forward without breaking anything it’s just a f/n/r switch that changes flows through a solenoid. I use it all of the time more than the B brake actually. Forklifts are mostly designed around the ability to use this pedal proficiently. Once you’ve become proficient at using it there are really a lot of things you can use it for. “Dumping the clutch” so you can slide things off or get out something your forks are tight in. It keeps you from having to smash the gas in a full turn so you don’t stall. Etc. I could go on and on. For beginners I would say get your bearing first safety is the number one priority.
My old boss stretched the truth for me to get a job paying 32.50 an hour I'm currently watching this before I start my training so grateful for these videos
Yo bro I got a side forklift job watching your Videos! Thank you first Off! Secondly, can you do a video on how to use the clutch. We got the propane forklifts, and the trainer says that's way down the line, but gave a brief example of why the clutch is beneficial. Thanks again for every video you already put out!
I’m so nervous I’ve never drove a forklift before I’m about to have a job that involves that these videos are making me feel better about it thank u so much for making these videos
omg! thanks so much for your easy to understand lessons. I'm starting new job with forklift training, and I wanted to know a bit before I started. Thanks so much. I did drive tractor trailers, certified cdl a but never did forklifts. Thanks so much, your a great teacher!!
Bro ur very good in teaching i hv been watchn ur video's and i can say i can drive the forklift without experience make more videos keep it up the good job
I stay watching your videos man🔥just started my job about a week ago…learned it all ,except I scraped a wall with the forklift (the back heavy part) i guess i misjudged how big the machine really is…
Hi Mr. Josh, can you do some videos showing how one would get in started up on each of the different ones showing how you would pick up a load reverse and going back in the last five that you showed I think that would help out a lot. Can you also do a video showing the pros and cons of being a forklift? versus a high low driver?. What is the starting pay? What things should we better prepare for as women when driving each of the five if we ever got a job what things should we know in advance. To drive going forth to drive backwards to drive in neutral when picking up and which ones are less dangerous? 🙋🏻♀️😇😉 I would love for you to do a video and tell me when you might be able to do this. I think as women we all need to learn this I'm thinking about taking this up since it's a one-day class seems simple enough.
Josh u helped me secure a job and take care of my family of 3 babies 🥲no BS💯 May God continue to bless you king.🙌🏿👍🏾✊🏿🤙🏾🙏🏿
