Hello, great video! I am having a problem with my laptop (same one as this one) , I left it on overnight and it seems like it is stuck with the keyboard flashing lights but there’s no booting (no ROG sound or fans spinning).
I removed the battery / ram but it still giving me the same issue, is there a way I can reach out so I can send you a video!
Might need to replace the RAM, but not sure.
I just took off the ram and I am still having the same issue, any other ideas? I am taking to a shop tomorrow but want to see if I can solve it myself
@@KevinTorres-hy7ib you need at least one stick of RAM. You can't take them all out.
@@ItsBinhRepaired
It seems like my computer only has 1 stick so maybe that is the issue, I will see about buy a 16gb of ram
@@KevinTorres-hy7ib OK
What kind of screw drivers do you use in the video? I bought a disassembly tool from Amazon, and I stripped the screws when I tried to repast the thermal paste.

Thank you!!

I seem to have the same issue with the screen, is it okay to not repair the screen and just use it with an external monitor or is it necessary to repair the screen
You can use with an external.
Do you still have this laptop? I need to do a repair to the motherboard (hopefully), but finding any schematics or details on the board seems to be impossible (No help from Asus). I owned this laptop for a year and then, due to unfortunate circumstances, fried a circuit that controls at least the keyboard and touchpad (probably more). I have been trying to find a close up image of that portion of the board.
I don't. You'll have to ask motherboard sellers.
If I were to upgrade/replace the ssd would I have to reinstall windows?
Yes, or you could clone it beforehand czcams.com/video/4p5jFDzVwUw/video.html
How would one go about cleaning the fan?

I spilt redbull on mine and I don't know and it was on for 20 mins before it completely shut off
:(
why does the fan start cracking when it starts?
i have another problem now
What's that? Could be bad grease
@@ItsBinhRepaired idk man
What was the problem with it? Mine just went black and won't come back on.
Did you try an external monitor?
@@ItsBinhRepaired I did. It does work on an external
@@brandyfoster559 maybe a bad screen or bad backlight circuit on the motherboard
Going to try and replace the screen first
@@brandyfoster559 make sure you do the battery drain
Bro stop punching things
Where's the fun in that? Lol czcams.com/users/liveaDKOo7agETg?feature=share
