The signal chain is: Ltd passive bass with daddario pro steels 45-105 strings- mxr bass compressor - darkglass harmonic booster - darkglass b7k ultra - iRig2 interface - AmpliTube for iPad. My music and freatboard knowledge is limited, so the octaves is all I am able to do, but works fine for me. Keep on rockin!
This particular bass line is simple and different from the Guitar riff in the verses, I think it’s one of the tom’s work hallmarks. But it fits in the song perfectly.
I have always though Tom is not at the same ejection level than the other 3. But that's not his rule....when the bass works for the song we all can release the importance of this guy

It’s a LTD tom araya signature (the cheap one) with Ltd passive pickups.
