Thanks Chesterton Radio. Thank you also too the Author, well worth listening too. ☺️👵🏻🇦🇺
I'm glad I listened to it and I'm glad it's over. Whew! Such great performances on a difficult subject. Hard to imagine how dreadfully impossible it really was "in those days" for everyone involved. Ty.
Superb acting, Dame Flora was always perfect & her voice held so much feeling, the rest of the cast were also marvellous.
The writing was impeccable, in my mind I’m giving it a happy ending, just great & many thanks 🙏
Excellent. Thank you
Greetings from Florida 🌴 This was Riveting!! In Appreciation I, Thank You Sir!!
Swizz! We don`t know which way the phone call went, lol. Very good play, enjoyed that on this horrible cold and wet afternoon.
The chief subject matter underlying this play is rarely employed in this genre. The finale being absolutely gut wrenching. There really is no one answer. One must deal with their own conscience if found in a similar situation. The story plus the actors' skills are outstanding. Hi from Oz. 👇💜🙃
Excellent - thank you
Brilliant performance of an excellent play...wow!
Cheers ✌🏽
Really good. Thank you.
Superb . Not my usual " thing" but I am glad I did listen to this great play. Every part was played by the best actors whether household name or not . Regrettably, I donot have the vocabulary to praise it as it deserves
I understand your reply
Jolly splendid old top

How sad.A very good play.
Synopsis: An attempted suicide at a women's prison sets off a chain of events that has very unfortunate results. This leads to a question of justice vs mercy....an extremely tragic story.
Thanks for the synopsis I always appreciate people who take the time to let the rest of us know the storyline 👍👍
You're very welcome.
Thank you once again for the synopsis tottie may,I don't like listening to a play or watching a film without a synopsis,it adds to my pleasure.
Thank you, Tottenham Mae.
@@kaybowkett7931 🤣😂🤣 That's me!
We’re left hanging as to which way final conversation went (thankfully) & I thoroughly enjoyed this great play. Well done & thank you for uploading 👍
Sign and attitudes of the times
Great play. Good ending. It makes one think.
very well done
I can't help feeling that what the husband said about and felt about the child was worse than what he actually did to her.
I agree. He came off as horribly selfish and shallow.
So sad
heartbreakingly wonderful
An enjoyable and robust storyline thank you. However, on this particular occasion I do not believe that the open-ended ‘allowing of the listener to arrive at their own conclusion’ was at all appropriate. Dame Flora, as usual, was most effective in her role. Thank you once again, regards, Dave
👍👍👍
Another tragedy of gender-based economics.
Really good, thank you.
