I've always found it fascinating that in Korean culture, girls can wear extremely short skirts or shorts and that's totally fine yet exposing their shoulders or even just a small amount of chest/cleavage is seen as completely immodest.
In alot of Western countries, it's flip-flopped. Girls often wear tank tops, tube tops, strapless dresses, etc. but get judged for being slutty if their skirt or shorts are too short. Who decides these things? lol 🤷♀️
Our cleavage starts much higher up, I wear a typical tank top and I look way too sexy.
Agreed. Who came up with this? That's why I think different cultures are so fascinating. What's ok in one culture is not in another. That's why right and wrong is not really universal.

This is the first time I have a seen a foreigner meeting Koreans, who is so friendly, lively & humble. :)
I love him. He is actually trying to make the girl feel comfortable when it should be the other way round since he is in their country.
She is a high school girl, and he seems to be a grown man. She‘s allowed to feel a bit uncomfortable. I remember I was super shy in high school
You also need to take into account that most Asians (not all) tend to be extremely shy! So while she may LOOK uncomfortable, she may not actually be feeling uncomfortable. He is also a very talkative person, which is more common in Western cultures, we never shut up. So by him being very talkative and open, it could also make it seem like she is uncomfortable, but in reality they are very modest and quiet.
In general he just seems to really appreciate everything in Korea from the bottom up.
I'd be compelled to stay silent if someone was as lively as he is :'D

As a German I must say, Florian is the most open and friendly German I've ever seen
As another German I cannot confirm. My elemtary school teacher is the friendliest German. She always brought us sweets and read stories she wrote herself. The stories were about the class going on a journey and what each person experienced there.

Meine Augenfarbe "ändert" sich auch, aber das hängt mit Helligkeit, Lichteinfall und Lichtart zusammen xD und die Distanz zwischen mir und der Person die mich betrachtet.
Das stimmt aber xD geht glaub ich nir bei grün, blauen augen. Das hat mit dem Melanin zu tun. Wenn die sonne im sommer mehr scheint kommt mehr melanin in den körper und somit kann sich die augenfarbe etwas verändern. Genauso anders herum wenn die sonne im winter oder herbst nicht mehr so viel scheint. :)) (haben wir zumindest im Bio LK mal gelernt🤷🏻♀️😄)
My eye colour changes depending on my mood. They can be green, brown or Amber.

@@FeeDBacKMKII I have lived in 4 different countries and I can tell you that the stereotypes are often very wrong. Right now I live one a very multicultural city and have met people from all around the world. We often make fun of stereotypes because of how inaccurate and stupid they are 😅
Edit: though, you are right that some stereotypes are true to a certain extent. Usually stereotypes come from a very specific part of the country- which of course can't represent it as whole. And even then, other stereotypes can be the very exaggerated version of something a person has observed.

I noticed the same thing and at first thought he was talking too much and hogging the conversation but when there was a pause for her to say something she didn’t say much and he had to pick it back up again.

There is a lot of editing going on maybe she just didn't have much to say. Also he does have more experience having lived in both the east and the west while she only has television and the odd tourist as comparison.

There’s always that stereotype that Asians are thin, and I can’t help but feel insecure bc im an athlete and have muscle instead of being thin. It makes me sad, but I try not to overthink it

It's not only the eating habit but actually different kinds of humans we evolved from considering the geographic location... I'm not entirely sure why asians are shorter but I know their kind had very straight long and thin limbs, especially legs. While more western were indeed more bulky with wider upper body and limbs slightly arched... basically all the physical differences came from the different species of humans we evolved from and a mix of them
I come from the same ancestral person on both sides. Korean and Native American Indian. My Native Indian side we all have thicker thighs. Both are from the frozen waste land so the cold hypothesis is off.

This is false...We all come from Homo sapiens sapiens which is one species. Most humans also have some Neanderthal genes (Everywhere from Africa, Europe, to Asia)

I'm around the same age and I guess when you're in your mid-to-late twenties you can feel old when faced with someone who's 19 years old. I think he just didn't want to make the age gap that obvious.

I’m so fascinated at how fluent this guy is with Korean language. But then again, I find it quite common to see so many westerners and foreigners speak korean as fluently as native speakers, which makes me wonder if Korean language is that easy to learn & pick up? Or they’re just all coincidentally good at picking up languages. I don’t see as many number of foreigners speak as fast and as fluent as these foreigners are with the Korean language as any other languages out there; unless to the very few who were actually born and raised in that particular country. It just seems very interesting to me. 🤔
I just learn Korean by myself for 1 month now so I would say that Korean Is easier in term of writing but it's harder to speaks because of the grammar but overall I think this language is easy and fast to learn..

From my experience people generally don’t care what you wear unless they feel it’s inappropriate for a certain occasion (work, job interview, formal stuff, church)
