This week we start our Nepal series with our very first impressions of this new country! We have been blown away at how much we already love this place, as well as the friendliness of local people and great Nepali food.
In this video we take you with us around the Thamel area before eating Nepals famous MoMo's and Dal Bhat before finally ending up at Durbar square.

FYI:The ticket is legit, all the foreigners have to buy the tickets but not the locals. Every entrance to that square in every direction has a ticket booth so that no one enters without ticket.

Nepal is not somewhere that's ever been on my radar to travel to but after watching this it looks really nice and I think I'd rather there than India. I'll have to investigate how accessible it is for wheelchairs
hi! im afraid to say that nepal is definitely not very wheelchair accessible 🥹 there’s a severe lack of sidewalks and you’ll have to be on the roads most of the time ,which might pose a risk to you since you’re on a wheelchair. I hope one day we’ll be able to accommodate all sorts of tourists here. ❤️
Ahhh glad to hear Shaun! We have had the most amazing time. We had such high expectations after hearing from people who had visited recently and the country didn’t disappoint! I can see why people come back again and again. We will definitely be heading back there soon 😆
Hi! Traveling alone can be challenging, especially since we're striving to make our cities more wheelchair-friendly. While there are newly opened shopping malls and streets that accommodate wheelchairs, we still have much to improve compared to more modest cities. However, if you love nature, culture, mountains, and warm hospitality, you'll adore Nepal. The people here are humble, and with a good guide, you can explore wherever you wish, even in a wheelchair. And Infact if you ever happen to visit Nepal, do let me know, we can manage you better stay overhere. P.S I am not business owner just helping you out just to promote my own nation and for which I am proud of.
Unfortunately it’s not very wheelchair friendly, a lot of places you can only go by walking but if you skip those places then you should be okay.
