I always make my Bottom 2 cm thick , so the Yarnbowl would not slip . I knit myself , so its easy to know. Thicker Bottom is very helpful for every Bowl if you ´r a Catowner . I call them „catsafe „ lol

Hi Colwin, I have learned most of my turning from You Tube videos.I have noticed that you prefer to use a “bottom feeder” to turn the bottom of the inside of a bowl, whereas other turners seem to prefer a scraper. Is there an advantage with either method or is it a case of personal preference?
