    Its a great helmet. I got into a crash last month and cracked the helmet. It done its job protecting my skull

      Sorry to hear about the accident, but I'm glad the helmet was able to keep you safe. You might want to reach out to Oakley about a free or discounted crash replacement helmet.

    The rear of the helmet reminds me of a star wars storm trooper. Nice review.

      Thanks! Good call, especially in the white/black color scheme. the helmet does have Star Wars look to it.

    Can you help me please how to repair a broken boa wire for the helmet?

    • @TheSweetCyclists
      @TheSweetCyclists  Před 2 lety

      I've never done the repair myself so I'd recommend reaching out to Oakley or BOA. BOA has replacement dials and cables so it should be straight forward to replace. There is a small screw driver that goes through the O on the BOA dial that should let you open the dial and wind up a new cable.

    Thank you, is it a good idea to buy this helmet in 2024? It's on sale for US$27 where I live.

      The ARO 3 isn't my favorite helmet on the market but for $27 that's hard to beat. You might want to make sure you aren't buying some sort of cheap replica helmet, that seems like a suspiciously low price.

    i cracked my Aro3 and wonder if I could somehow transplant the MIPS liner onto this. Just wondering

    • @TheSweetCyclists
      @TheSweetCyclists  Před 2 lety +1

      I would reach out to Oakley, but I'd highly doubt they'd just swap over that easily. Oakley should be able to offer you a discounted crash replacement though so you could get another ARO3 or the ARO3 Lite.

      @@TheSweetCyclists I just hope the official distributor here allows for a crash replacement because Aro helmets here in the Philippines are out of stock

      @@clintnieves Yea, supplies are limited everywhere right now. Hopefully they can take care of you though and get you back on the road again.
