This story kinda reminds me of mine. I met a girl online last year in March and we slowly became friends. After around a couple of months, I fell in love with her, so I confessed to her after a few weeks, and she said yes. After that, I was living the happiest time of my life. Then a week or two later, she was leaving for a trip with her family. She asked me if she should go and I agreed gladly. It was supposed to be a week long trip but I didn't get any news for more than 10 days, I was quite worried about her. Then a friend of her told me that she was in the hospital. Her family (except her mother) got into a car accident, it was a drunk-driver case. Both her sibling died on spot, while her dad was in serious danger. She said that Emily (my girlfriend) was safe and I don't have to worry. For the next two months, I didn't get any further news from her friend. One morning, when I just returned from an important trip, I checked my phone which I didn't have for those three days, and there was a notification from her friend. I was so happy and excited when I saw it, I finally had some good news. But the message read : "Sorry, but Emily is no longer with us. I couldn't tell you sooner cause I needed some time to recover. She needed a heart transplant and the doctor said that luckily a heart was ready and just had to be transferred. But there were some problems and the heart was too late for the operation". I didn't get over it for almost an year. Finally, I kinda started liking another girl and thought that I would get over Emily's death like this. I confessed to her just a week ago and surprisingly, she said yes to me. And after 2 days, her friend texts that she died in an accident. I couldn't believe what she said and passed it on as a joke. Omg I am SO sorry! I had this friend who was REALLY close to me and had a crush on me. I liked him back too. He was the only friend I had and had been my only friend since 6th grade. He was suicidal though. His first 5 attempts didn't work. 3 years later I got a phone call saying that he had attempted once again and it worked. He wasn't going to tell me. He was 16 when this happened. It was this year. The day before my 16th birthday was when I got the call. I was heartbroken. But he left me a note on my computer and told his mom in his suicide note to tell me to open up that document. We both loved writing stories and he had written a story of us. I cried and still cry while reading it. R.I.P Michael and I love you.
