- I met Alex while asking random people to sing in Sarasota, FL (USA). At first, he turned down my offer. But his friends convinced him to come back and sing a song with me. Upon talking to him more, I find out he's the lead singer and guitar player for a brand new band called "Prospect." Once I learn this, I ask him if I could learn to play a Prospect song on guitar so that he could sing it with me. He says yes, and he decides to teach me the song. What happens next is another great musical experience!

Reggie is such an incredible artist, he asked me to sing with him and at first I respectfully declined, but afterwards decided to go back and give it a go and honestly so glad that I did!! Such a kind easy going person with lots of talent, we sang a few songs and were able to put smiles on some faces which made my day and hopefully others around. It's super impressive how Reggie picked up the song so quickly and easily, and this man singing is super talented. I hope to hear more from him.
I was coming here to say the same thing. Come on. Imagine how it must feel - you're on vacation and you're releasing an album and then this random smiling dude in a park, just plays your song after a couple of minutes and doing percussion to it. I would simply love to just sit down with Reggie and listen to him play and sing along out of key. :D
Not to mention the cool licks he through in and the effects on the guitar. This was an unrehearsed, first take and it came out perfect!

I love this guy. He just brings confidence out of people. They are always excited. It just shows it’s worth taking a chance and not being afraid to be in the spotlight. You’ll never regret taking a chance but you might regret walking away
Exactly what makes it so great and unique. He is endlessly charismatic but he chooses to let other people shine. The fact that he's made a career out of that is incredible. The guy could pivot to doing his own thing and take the easy route. He has a devout fanbase at this point. But he continues to always give the spotlight to others and that speaks more to a persons character than anything I can think of.

As an alcoholic, I understand the struggles this song lyrics speak about. I a crying. My heart sings out to all the people with addictions and I hope they can access help. I am going back into detox and rehab for alcohol abuse. I got 50 days sober. I want to go 1+ years sober in a rehab. After 26 years of alcohol addiction, it is a struggle. Same with drugs. Sadly alcohol is easily accessed. Drugs are also easy to access also if you have your supply dealers. Please support your friends or family members if they have issues. Don't cut them off and state things like "You can just quit, get will power, your a shame" etc. the mind is obsessed with the intake. It is not an easy road to recovery. Never cut us addicts off. But don't give us money to support our addiction(s). seek Professional help.

I think you've nailed a big part of why so many people enjoy these videos, and how almost all of these people are more comfortable or happier after singing. You could tell how anxious Alex was at the start, but he got really into it about halfway through singing. Held his phone just in case but just rocked it with your playing in-sync. Fantastic moment that I'm glad I could watch secondhand. Would love to run into you and just enjoy the moment. Keep it going man!

I'm in the States, SSDD here. Mid term elections ramp up soon here, possible labor strikes in a month, financial hardships abound nationwide. Real change is unlikely though. But hey, at least I'm not living in a warzone, it could always be worse.

Yeah as you say SSDD (I had to look that up 😂😂) and I’m sure the mid-terms will be riveting even though I do enjoy watching the US presidential debates. But as you rightly say things could be worse given the nonsense going on with that madman in Russia and the very good people of the Ukraine. As one gets older I find myself taking real joy from clips like this one we both enjoyed and quite often with a tear in my eye about how simply wonderful many if not most human beings are. Dude, Reggie's got that chill energy. I understand being nervous about doing anything out in public (some of us are really cringey singers) but I feel like he does what he can to prop you up, and he's very humble about his own talent. Thanks, Dee! Yeah, we filmed there for two days. People love music there for sure, but honestly it was pretty difficult to get people to sing. After 4 hours on the second day, we only got maybe 7 people to do it. Alex was the final guest. I'm thankful for each of those 7 people and you'll be seeing more videos from this day.

The night I was there at the circle , some kid and his mom played there. The kid on a cello and mom sorta singing along. Knew that place would be special. Met a few shop owners also. Would visit that spot again in a minute.
