Can't find any videos where that was done at At Mark's Swindon or York Minster - either hitting bells with pieces of wood or, more dangerously, pulling the the chiming hammer ropes such that the hammer is held against the bell after striking (the Bedwellty portion shows how they should be chimed). Shame really as the ringing shown is of an aspirational quality for the local band.
Mynyddislwyn? Fab? Not sure I can agree with you on that one!... and the pronunciation was basically how it was told to me when I asked, and the local at Blaenavon seemed perfectly happy with it likewise. Happy to be stood corrected anyhow!
Love this video up to the point you when up in our Church Belfry with out permission and hit one of our bells with a bit of wood very disrespectful
I completely agree with you Mark! How very disrespectful of them. I hope nothing was damaged.

Lucky escape for Euan there. Lime covers up that sloppy backstroke lead pretty well 🤝
@joshuahutchinson8847 it's called green screen; the Lilliputters Way 😊😄
I vote an OBE for lime
Possibly even a knighthood
Some fab bells here, especially Ebbw Vale and Mynyddislwyn. Not sure I agree on that pronunciation though! I feel that the brick needs explaining...
