- This is a cover of the Wolfe Tones song and one that I've been wanting to do for a long time. I think it's appropriate for this time of the year...well, I could really say that about anything on my channel lol but it's one of my favorites. If it's a song you haven't heard before, just listen to the words and it will hit home. This one is for the hunger strikers, those who came before them, and those who continue the struggle.

Yes indeed. I didn't start crying listening to the Wolf Tones until the lyric "May God shine on you Bobby Sands". With Sheena's version, the tears start immediately.

Beautiful cover, girl, it's great to see other young people still thinking of the past, as our hedonistic society has reached so high an altar that the possibility of finding you here would almost seem impossible. Reminds me of the women on hunger strike that Bobby would write encouraging letters to from his cell. We must not forget, not the men, not the women, and we must make sure that their pain was not in vain.
