- Hi guys, this is the Riff off from Pitch Perfect 3 without the movie audio. In order to put the OST version I had to delete some parts of the film, sorry if you don't like the result, I tried to make the song fit with the mouth moves.

It can't be they didn't know what a riff off was and when the girls explained what it was they didn't say that they couldnt use instruments. So when they were using them they wouldn't have been disqualified. It's the Bella's fault for not explain the rules properly.

What people dont realize is that this scene is supposed to show the disconnect the Bella's have being so combative and feeling like they have to prove something. When everyone else is just Jamming and having a great time. which is what that feedback is for saying "why you fighting us and not just join us in fun."
Except, Ruby Rose and her band were also super competitive, starting the whole thing by being dismissive of the Bella's singing talents. The riff off was to show what the Bellas did took mad skills. Also, Ruby Rose knew she couldn't compete while staying within the rules, so she had her band grab instruments. If you agree to play Soccer, you can't just start throwing the ball around with your hands, and claim the other person is a bad sport for not wanting to play Rugby half-way through the game.

I am still amazed at how amazing Anna Kendrick sounds singing Only Human. I wish she would do a full recording of it. She has a stunningly clear and powerful voice. Also am I the only one who gets pissed off every time they interrupt her singing?
I get people are miffed about instruments, but tbh the other musicians just seemed to have so much fun with this. They helped each other, mixed and matched songs... they turned a competition into a collaborative jam session. It's real fun to watch :)

I think this was one of the most awesome parts of the movie:) I was enjoying all the singing and including instruments was a very refreshing way of making acapella better. So i was thinking the whole time "what a nice 'showdown', Bellas why dont you join in having fun like the others?"

Tbh they did not lose this riff off because their opoonents broke the rules (from what I gathered from clips of this I have seen. I have not seen any of the movies, so if I am wrong do tell.)

It's 2022 and i feel like i still need full version of Anna's Human.
I'm always sad that the bellas are missing the point of the other musicians here. I relate to them since I've had performances with other musicians as well. It's to have fun practicing together. We often ended up singing all kinds of fun songs backstage together, improvising and having fun. The spontaneity of it makes it some of the best stuff ever.

What I like about this movie is they hit us with the most random songs that induces nostalgia in these beautiful acapella medley. But they had to lip sync everything. Understandable, it's just annoying when it's so obvious.
it doesnt match in this video because its not the original clip, this is the original soundtrack version on top of the original video. its less obvious in the movie
The last medley was beautiful. The combinations, and what I wouldn’t give to hear full country-Texan covers of those songs.

In the beginning. The Bellas show the potential of Acapella songs. If the battle was a Acapella. The other bands don't have any chance.
In the second part. The scene show us the bands in your own place and balance the competition.
