You’re basically right about the q50. They had the g37/370z motor in them before the 3.0t. The motor they put in the new Z is the same 3.0t that’s in the q50/q60 redsport which makes more power than the base models.
The engine itself in the redsports is actually exactly the same as the base q50/60 the only differences are that the turbos have a speed sensor, and the cooling system has a 2nd pump compared to the non redsport models.
The tune is what makes it make more power not anything special
This 3.0T engine is capable of 700+ horsepower with upgraded turbos and tuned

@@ojones888 no it’s not. They literally spin rod bearings at 500hp
Downpipes, bigger heat exchanger, and a tune and you’re looking at probably 400 at the wheels just with those alone. Anything after that doesn’t gain much until you start messing with the turbos, which are incredibly tiny.

Literally nothing to do with it being twin turbo like a gtr. They don’t have in Infiniti in Japan so they Nissan skylines. That’s just the name they gave the g35 and up models because the q50 q60 are based on an old ass platform

I’m sad because I didn’t win the BRZ😒🤣 but on the bright side I should be installing my replacement N54 along with upgraded turbos and well a lot of maintenance and performance parts these next few weeks. My only car has been down since mid March when it spun a rod bearing pretty bad and well just have been patiently waiting ever since. Hopefully this new N54 doesn’t let me down😫

Sometime in July you should come to Kearney Nebraska for cruise night car show it’s a week long event with drag racing burnout contest cruising town car show down town with over 300 cars and all around fun all week it would be really cool to see you at more events like this. Of course only if you have time and want to travel the distance. Fans across the country would love to see you at more car shows!!!!!
Anytime my stepdad and I would travel, we'd rent a Q50. They're pretty comfortable and have decent power for maneuvering through traffic.

I got a 2014 Infiniti Q50 with the VQ37VHR and I absolutely love it. It’s got 167k and it’s fbo with a tune but I’d highly recommend the Q50 to anybody that wasn’t a reliable and quick sedan.

DOWNPIPES, EXHAUST, BOV’s, INTAKES, and a Racebox tune (they’re Texas based and specialize in big HP VR’s) she’ll be making a nice 450+ And there’s plenty of exterior support for these cars, you can do a sport conversion, and lower it and it’ll look tasteful.

I was a porter for Infiniti when the Q50 came out, and my boss pulled some strings, and I got to drive it around before they were even supposed to be on trucks to dealerships. People's heads were turniiiing! :P
Early q50 had the vq37vhr like the z34, 330hp, then they got the base vr30ddtt with 300hp like hers, the redsport vr30 with 400hp, a even more base 2.0t with 208hp, and a hybrid with vq35hr and electric motor, 360hp
Get the Stage 3 AMS package for it, Q50 heat soaks like crazy def worth the heat exchanger upgrade
