Just so you know the author of where the crawdads sing and her family are wanted in africa for questioning in the murder of a poacher. It’s been a pretty big controversy in the book world, especially because the author and her family are refusing to cooperate or provide any testimony, when it is believed that they have actual footage of the murder and the murderer (allegedly their son). She published the book after the alleged murder and a lot of people were saying that the book paralleled her situation in a lot of ways. I have yet to read it because I am conflicted about the whole situation, but I wanted to share the book tea.
