I like those brush clips on a zig zag cleat!

It's one of my favorite ways to anchor. Thanks for watching and commenting!

So how does an inexperienced person know how much current and wind is safe

Ive heard a lot of people say that the zip tie will break when u pull on it. I dont see that happening. Have u ever tried to break a zip tie with your hand? Now imagine trying to break one with a rope hanging 40 feet below your boat....

Hell of a lot more leverage with the anchor, the obstruction, and the kayak. It generally breaks without any issues if that situation arises.

New subscriber here. Awesome anchoring info. Could you do a video on your rod holders on your Frontier 12? I’m curious as to the brand and the way you have them secured to the kayak for catfishing.

I can do a quick walkthrough one day, this weekend most likely. They are just Sotty rod holders and Scotty track adapters. Glad the video helped you! Thanks for the comment.

Hi, Ty. Better late than never, but my most recent upload was a walk through on how I mounted my rod holders. Did you end up getting a Frontier?

@@hikewadepaddle I did end up getting an F12. I did a walk through on mine and posted it to my fishing channel “Chasing Catfish”. I’ll check out your setup as I’m always looking for new ideas. Thanks for the heads up. Good luck out there. 🎣
