Ever thought about Master Oogway's backstory? Turns out, he wasn't always a wise old monk. According to movie lore and some fan theories, here's the scoop: Oogway was born on the Galapagos Islands, then traveled the world, eventually ending up in war-torn China. He became a warlord, alongside his buddy Kai, and they conquered a lot. But after getting injured, Oogway was healed by pandas who taught him chi. This act of kindness changed him, and he vowed to use his skills for good. Kai, however, got greedy and started stealing chi. Oogway had to banish him to the Spirit Realm. Feeling lost, Oogway wandered until he found the Valley of Peace, infested with demons. He meditated by the Pool of Sacred Tears, created kung fu, and defeated most demons, sealing them in the Jade Mountains. He built the Jade Palace, trained students, and sent them to spread peace. Oogway also united the Kung-Fu Council of Gongmen City and adopted Shifu, who became his best student. Eventually, he chose Po as the Dragon Warrior before passing away and ascending to the Spirit Realm.

Yeah, that’s something I considered. I don’t think that Kai turned into a villain like some CZcams edits might suggest, I think Oogway turned into a hero.

Kai is not greedy idiot, kai died in the battle field because of oogways mistake before he was healed by pandas.... kai is in his spirit form not a mortal being anymore.
He is more like a powerfull ghost in all versions.
