This is an excellent lineup of musicians for Hawkwind, the band are tight, driving the songs on, superb! I especially love this track Calvert at his lyrical best and this is a great version in honour of the last star fighter. Not seen them on tour now for a few years but will be going next time around.
Yet another fucked up version of a Calvert classic by Brock! I fucking hate Brocks bastardisation of this track. Complete disrespect for Robert Calvert rescuing Brocks Hawkwind from obscurity in the late 70's.
Hawkwind used to be full of characters I find them very bland now .Bob Calvert was a genius and a character and that was a bland version of spirit of the age
