Good stuff man. Just finished watching this. Been a weird year. I only started fishing for cats about a week ago. Trying out new spots because the damn rivers been up 90% of this season all the normal spots I fish aren’t that good. And grass floating all over.

Awesome video J. Those were some nice fish. Can you give me some advice on reeling down on them. I notice you always reel down on them. I’ve never seen anyone do that. They always wait until they pull the rod down a bit or until they hooked themselves myself included. Seems like I’ve been getting bites but I either wait to long and they drop it or I start reeling to soon and they drop it.
KY used to be, well you could use just as many rods as you think you can handle, but like I said, that's what it used to be, I don't know what it is, or if it's still the same, now, I haven't kept up with with fishing or anything here in KY, for twenty years or more, probably longer than that actually. Yeah that sucks, but I don't have anyway to get anywhere, and I don't drive either, not since about 08' , so I just gave up on fishing, I'm an old man anyhow, so, but I still have all my fishing equipment and things, no way I'm getting rid of that, any of it. Haha! Besides I have a buddy who has a private lake, and he's been stocking big flatheads, blue's and channels in it since was a teenager, about 40 years or so.

You must not of had uncles or a grandpa that fished. . He gone has been around the fishing world longer then most of us been alive.. Pretty sure I've known Jon to say that before yak kat even made videos
I didn’t have any uncles growing up like you probably had lol. As far as my dad and grandpa, neither of them have ever said that and we are avid fisherman and hunters. Just sayin you totally got that from Justin. Find your own slogan. Makes you look bad plagiarizing him

Yeah illinois has no limit if you’re fishing off a boat. Bank fishing there’s a limit though.
And it's crazy cause the aren't even good for eating in most of PA
