New subscriber here. I am so glad CZcams recommended your channel. We have a very similar garden set up that we are working on now, but a much smaller scale. Seeing this video assures me we are doing things right, as far as the bed construction, fencing, and soil prep goes. We struggle with deer and raccoon invasions, so I sure hope this set-up deters them enough to make all the hard work worthwhile. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I ordered 2 of the planners from Amazon for $7 each. That way they will be here by Mother’s Day. My mom will love to have one for herself as well.

Your videos are really inspiring and helpful. With the uncertainty of supply at the grocery store, home gardening is a great alternative. When I was growing up, my dad did alot of gardening, so I have a good head start. But now that I live further south than where I grew up, the growing seasons are quite different, of course. All these tips and tools will help us get on the right track. One of the expensive investments will be glass jars for canning. But once you've bought the jars, all you have to do is reuse them and only buy sealing lids and maybe rings. Looking forward to more videos.

Wow I could have used that thing back in 1970's when I was young enough to have a garden. I used the Old Farmer's Almanac as my guide and marked the dates that I planted in doors and outside. You do a very good job with the raised bed gardening, a suggestion when you get older with sore back and legs a two foot sides was the way that I went for my raised bed gardens. Raised bed gardens are easier to weed, good going and I love your videos.

So much of the experience that our great grandparents grandparents, for that matter even our own parents is being loss throughout time ! Planting a gardens is happening more often in family's lives because of want and need.
Also more people are moving to different climates than what they grew up in , so this should be a great way of making sure that Planting is better timing for Planting, saving time , money , and be the greatest success in gardening .
I away enjoy watching both of you learning how to plan a very nice place to live , on some what of a down home budget . Sometimes would love to be there to give you some little advice that I have to make your life's a little bit " easier "
