- Hello everyone!
Time for something different, so here’s a lil’ snare shoot out of all of the Tama Snare drums that I own.
This one is a Vintage Imperialstar Kingbeat, you can get all the specifications over here: www.drumforum....

Thanks a lot to my buddy Sebastian Wurm from RockStudio for the collaboration and the awesome mix! It’s very clean and honest, not too much processed, so you can get a good idea of how the snare actually sounds.
Thanks a lot to my brother Manuel Diepold for filming and colour grading!
Thanks a lot to Phil Ferrari for the “Low Tuning”-Track.
Thanks a lot to Apostolis Karydis for the “Mid” and “High Tuning”-Tracks.
And thanks a lot to the awesome companies, that I’m blessed to work with:
Tama Drums
Remo Heads
Murat Diril Cymbals
Fishsticks Drumsticks
OnTrigger
ACD Unlimited
Great Videos David!
Vintage Tama steel is awesome!
Another great sound and well played demo! Your work is precious!
Love this drum! Not sure if it’s the mix or the drum but I hear every detail. Seemed to cut more then the others he demonstrated while sitting in the mix. Excellent playing as well.
Looks and sounds great! I prefer the low/med tunings.
Awesome playing too!!!
Wow, klingt super und top getrommelt 💯
the Best among of the 6..
wow that sounds phat! 🤩
My other hobby besides drumming is watch collecting and its well known in chiming watches that titanium is the best for sound, I wonder if the same applies to snares.
Wow cool info. I’ve never heard of a titanium snare, Generally the best sound is considered bell brass 😎
David, do you have a favorite snare?
That high tuning sounds exquisite! I loved that snare drum sound, but I think it definitely shines better when cranked up, at least with the Ambassador on top.
