Aurora Province: Baler + San Luis Drive

This segment which is about 70+Km starts at La Patricia Hotel and Restaurant, Purok 3, Baler & drive around Baler & San Luis, Aurora to get to see the gems in the area:
• Ditumabo Mother Falls, Ditumabo Mother Falls St, San Luis
A 30-minute leisurely paced trek from parking area to the falls. Be sure to use waterproof hiking shoes or water shoes with a nice grip in the soles. Trek can be done by anybody. A guide is mandatory, but the fee/ tip is voluntary. This is good IMHO to help the locals earn a living as well. Besides, these guides are good with smart phone cameras 😊.
During summer, its nice to be in swimming attire as well since the water is cool & nice after sweating it out during the hike. Native delicacies, fresh young coconut or halo-halo are available at the tourist registration center which is good during the return hike😊.
• Diteki Bridge, along Nueva Ecija - Aurora Road, San Luis
Went to get a feel of the bridge since Nueva Ecija-Baler Road is also in the bucket list. Bridge is concrete but one way.
• Baler Hanging Bridge End 2, Unnamed Road, Baler
• Baler Fish port
• Dimadimalangat Rock Formation, Baler
• Aniao Islet, Baler
• PAGASA Baler Synoptic/Weather Surveillance Radar Station, Baler
Access to the roof top is not allowed anymore but still the view of Baler Bay is breathtaking from the area.
• Ermita Hill, Poblacion, Baler
Road condition is good even up to the parking lot of Ditumabo Falls. There is a short dire road of the Ditumabo Mother Falls Street just after turning left from the main road. Exercise caution at Diguisit Area as there are signs of loose stones coming from the hill on the right.
